Re: What's for dinner?

I wanted to bring this to anyone's attention that might be interested. They seem to be liquidating the Traeger Pro 34s on Amazon and other sites. Link won't take for some reason. I got one for $499 when I noticed them Memorial Day. Since then, they go in and out of stock. I really like it so far. It...

Re: What's for dinner?

Not exactly "what's for dinner" but a Mod I use with my Weber gas grill that I've had for 15 years or so. I was tolerating my gas grill for awhile, it was OK but not anything like charcoal. I added lava rocks between the "flavorizer bars" and it made a big difference. More even h...

Losi XXT Restoration Project

Picked this up off of ebay last week. In better condition in some ways and worse in others based on the description and photos. Pretty excited to clean this up into a runner. Will post progress as it is made.

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

I "think" I finished up the Sportsman today. There are a couple of shotty things that I did last minute for the last run that I told myself to correct before running it for real, but yea, those are what they are for now. :D

Re: The Lives and Deaths of RC Companies

R/C has a very dysfunctional history and the current all corporate involvement makes it self-destructive. It's not just RC, it's everywhere. In the automotive market, a handful of companies own most of the major brands. Holley, Edelbrock, Comp Cams, and Summit own probably 50%+ of the market. After...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2024 ** - Winner - RC10th

I'm sure we all remember the giant glass case of R/C cars at Toys R Us, and not to mention the aisle with all the NES flip cards where we would stand for as long as our mom would let us and try to determine which game to buy from reading the maker's outlandish descriptions and a few microscopic scre...

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Before going to sleep today, I checked the logs and whatever bad traffic we were being hit with has subsided enough where I was able to remove the US filter at least. :)

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

Another twin motor rig I ran into just looking around. I get the point of the twin motors (although wouldn't fit into most classes these days), but for the love of dog, the motors need to be the same!!! :D

Re: Vulgar Display Of Power (updated pics 4/3)

I wouldn't call it a restoration but I am breathing some life back into this piece. Wild hare i guess. Still has the wheelie bar on it. The Johnson 540 being installed won't require it.
