Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

My RC104WD came in today. I literally just sharpie'd the shipping box and stuck it on a shelf in the garage. I don't think I have been less enthusiastic about getting a RC car in my life. Just weird how this all worked out. :?

RCP Wreckluse - Axial Based

Afternoon Everyone...Its been a while since i posted a thread. I recently had the pleasure of taking out my RCP Wreckluse for a run. I also attached a GoPro to record the fun from Willy's perspective and to share. https://live.staticflickr.com/7844/45951979365_9f427800b7_b.jpg Set to 1080 for best r...

My graveyard of carcasses has arrived

After decades of absence from RC, I bought a group of RC10 pans and parts. Now bear in mind, I'm just a low level hobbyist, with minimal knowledge of the various mods, etc.. I do have solid (bordering on extensive) knowledge of all things mechanical, electrical, and electronic, relative to vehicles....

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!

Well, I preordered the kit along with the apex2 rally conversion, the flat chassis and a set of black arms. I think a worlds-esque look on the apex won't look too bad. I'm also kitbashing the rc10 4x4 with a rere worlds car, thanks to factory works making the shock towers. Yes, I'm still around. Lif...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple

I never do the contests as it is always a let down for me. Don't take it hard, someone has to win and everyone else has to not win. That's just how it is.

Re re Optima with trailing arm conversion

Way back in the 80's I raced an Optima very similar to this one. As a teenager, I just couldn't get enough of this car and modifying it just for the sake of changing it. I eventually hacked up some fiberglass plate and took some rear trailing arms from MIP to convert my Optima. I eventually had to g...

Custom Fabricated Train - Serious Machine work

This is a photo from left to right of Mr & Mrs Ed Sholl, and my Grandparents Bob & Mary Schenk. Ed and Bob were both career machinists. I took the photo in 1984 where I introduced my Grandparents to Ed and his wife. Ed originally started to build this train when raising his son. Unfortunatel...

** Hopelessly Incomplete Project of the Month - April 2025 **

We always like seeing runners and excellent shelfers, but how about the projects that never seem to come to completion? This contest is for the projects that are stuck. Missing parts, broken parts, impossible to find parts, or lack of motivation to put the parts together. What does winning mean? Con...

Re: ** Hopelessly Incomplete Project of the Month - April 2025 **

Wait- you only want pics of one unfinished build? I have like 14 going at a time 😅 I wouldn't know how to decide.

Here is my Bulldog. It's been sitting like this for at least 6 years. It survived the move but now it seems I've lost the tires and wheels 🫣
