Re: Finding a diff for the Axial SCX10 transmission

I've stumbled upon something interesting tonight. The gear diff assembly for the Kyosho Dirt Master will drop right into the Axial/Austar/Injora transmission cases. The Kyosho diff is the same width, tooth pitch and tooth count as the stock diff-less gear. All that is required are a couple 10x16x4mm...

Re: Finding a diff for the Axial SCX10 transmission

I ordered one and it arrived today, printed a pair of bearing adapters cause who has 10x16 bearings on hand lol. Fits and works well! Now, I will say it's a little wider than stealth but that's not a bad thing especially if AE continues to make their CVA shafts too short lol. This will also work wel...

Re: What Traxxas nitro chassis is this

Very cool chassis... but It's not a Nitro Rustler... or Traxxas at all. Nitro Rustler chassis' were full length aluminum with three holes behind the front bulkhead mount, the outer two for the bellcrank steering. Nitro Sport chassis' were partial length aluminum with one hole behind the front bulkhe...

Re: What Traxxas nitro chassis is this

The Victra Pro was another Graupner sold traxxas rig made from various parts from various cars. Here is the pdf exploded view, and a screenshot of the product info.

Re: What Traxxas nitro chassis is this

Hey, I spent a lot of time with the wayback machine haha. the doc files should even link to the wayback archives page but there isn't a lot to be seen. Here is my google drive for the graupner stuff, the radicator 2 is in there https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16gCzthonUh4N45ZwKeQ_l7xzP5noUrA8...

Team Losi JRx Pro SE

in 1992 Team Losi's continual effort of improving their Jrx2 1/10 2wd electric off-road buggy would culminate with the release of its third iteration, the JRx Pro SE. Very nearly a new car the SE boasted a number of revisions over the Pro that were taken from the 1991 ROAR championship winning proto...

Re: Team Losi JRx Pro SE

Fun fact: The Pro SE body is recommended for use on the RPM Ultra Molded Worlds buggy which has some similarities to the Pro SE chassis design.

Re: B6 Diff in B5 case ?

Chewbacca wrote: Wed Oct 23, 2024 10:55 am Since there is no modern AE section I'm posting my question here.

Any model produced after 1999 goes into the catch-all forum '21st Century Modern.' I've moved this there for you. :)

Re: Rear hub carriers with 12mm OD inner bearing

RPM made some for the B/T4 and SCT that used 1/2" bearings, which are only slightly under 13mm.

If 11mm would work, you have Traxxas options.

Re: If I was in charge

Ok, a lot of re release stuff out there. Some of it helpful. It'd be great if they'd re released some really key components. What would you, the community, like to see back on the market for parts? In terms of key components, what is missing? They really seems to have covered all of the bases. The ...

Re: TRX-1 hodgepodge - Bandit, Rustler, Slash gearbox parts?

Chewbacca wrote: Mon Dec 09, 2024 2:38 am  Ok, I stand corrected, I would have sworn, that Kyoshos are also metric, either 10 or 11mm OD.

Sorry if I mislead anyone.
Some might be, especially newer models.

My post was simply showing those particular wheels as a possible option, not calling anyone out.

Re: Here we go again.....

He used Slash rear arms, which should make the width nearly even. Sorry to side track this topic a bit, but since you mentioned it, where do the slash arms fall in width wise? I have Rustler rears and Nitro Rustler rears. Are the Slash like the Nitro Rustlers or somewhere in between? Thanks, Tony J...

Re: Here we go again.....

First of all, why’d you cut off the ears on the tranny case? I am sure you are aware yourself, those use a longer screw from the arm mounts to stecht to. It should work with either the RPM mount or the Traxxas Nitro rustler mounts. Perhaps some shaving or shimming required. The RPM wide arms make t...
