Re: XXX-T Gearbox Fitting to RC10/10T

Hi Marcel, and welcome to the forum. What you’re trying to do isn’t too uncommon. Now a lot of people have fitted different transmissions to the RC10 tub. You basically have 2 choices: Drill the chassis to you Losi pattern, or add an adapter plate between the chassis and the gearbox. Now, with the a...

Re: TRX-1 hodgepodge - Bandit, Rustler, Slash gearbox parts?

Kermit is pretty well cleaned up, but now I need to figure out what to do for front wheels. . 1000009352.jpg . The rears here are Bandit 2474 pin drive wheels, but the matching Bandit 2475 are also a pin drive wheel. I would prefer the fronts to be the old fashioned bearing in wheel setup. Any thou...

Re: Spring advice

Just recently someone here also mentioned that Schumacher still offers non-big-bore springs that could work for your case.

Re: When is an Associated a Traxxas?

Anyway, just food for thought. I'm of the mindset that names mean something but clearly the manufacturers are not as picky
Which brings us back to the Mach E

You get my point

Re: So I took my vintage Losi to the track..

One of the hinge pins from the STRC Kit for the Traxxas Bandit / Rustler might fit lengthwise. The longer pins are all 1/8 inch diameter, the 2 shortest pairs are thinner (caster blocks and steering).

It’s a bit pricy if you’re just going to use one pair.

Re: ** 2025 Tamiya Vintage World Classic - Thunder Alley R/C, Lucama NC - January 10-12 **

That looks like a fun and HUGE event. Too bad no mid motor conversions are allowed. I understand why, but some kits fit right into that class and time frame. such as the Tekin RC10 conversion. Were there any others worth mentioning from back then? I think there was one for a Schumacher, and differen...

STOP using photobucket / Flickr / Image shack WHATEVER here!

Instead of replying to the thread “It sucks that pics are disappearing here”, I thought a direct title might be a bit more effective. I totally agree with hugger19 that it is really annoying that a lot of pictures with valuable information get lost over time. Since modern phones take fairly high res...
