I think when I did my scorcher body I did wet sand the primer with 1500 before spraying color on it.

If you plan running it in dirt and grass the diff is nice but in the sand the stock gear works best.

Those chemical based paints don't play well with liquid mask, so I would test on something first before you try it on the body.

Sweet buggy, looks like you picked up a really good looking car. I don't believe you'd be money ahead buying a cheaper one. Here is my new 870c re-re. Not sure what I'm going to do with it yet but the body is going on 89 WCS. Might make this a runner with protech body in cliff lett style.

Here is one of mine I have done and the decals have all stuck just fine.

Painted a couple jconcepts bodies today.

They already have the graphite chassis and bezerk rc does the coffin shaped graphite chassis as well.

Something new I started on. Fanrc chassis kit and a works 91 donor car. Cleaned up the aluminum bulkheads, finishing up on motor mount and the caps are painted and drying. Next rebuild diffs with new pulleys and install with new 2mm pitch belts.

Found a couple photos of 2 of my 8 fox body mustangs. My 91 GT prepped for emerald green metalic paint and my 89 notchback state patrol car.
