Re: Fan RC FR-01
Oh right on. Never thought about CA there. Good feedback. I actually didn't consider that the roughness would be from the rings. I'll give them a slight sand just in case but I was more concerned about the outdrives. They are actuality fairly light but they do feel rough. I've decided I'm not gonna ...

Re: Fan RC FR-01
Oh geez! RIGHT! I forgot I bought ceramic balls! Which would make the 12 count of those balls make total sense. What a newb mistake. Ugh. Sometimes I can't get out of my own way. Thank you! Of course the balls are too big they are the diff balls. I am not exactly sure but I thought I was using the c...

Re: Fan RC FR-01
Anthony I am anxious to hear this answer too. I am close to charging up a pack and running mine so I hope in a week I'll know how the transmission "breaks in". I'll be sure to let you know.

Re: Fan RC FR-01
Retro rc... thank you. I didn't even think the motor would have a recommended final drive ratio. So I looked up the specs and it recommends 6.0:1. Then I went back to the re re world's instructions and found the chart where I read to use a 30t pinion. Sure enough it lists the final drive ratio with ...

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
Well considering how quickly I jumped on the opportunity to get the Fan RC FR-01 I don't see how I could pass up this opportunity if it should arrive. I'm more excited about the prospect of having parts available through associated to restore my tattered graphite car from the 90's.

Re: Request : RC10 set-up guide leaflet
I am not aware of where to find the leaflet you are speaking of but there are some real basic setup info tips in the world's re release instructions. I know this is not what you are looking for but hey maybe this helps get some attention to your question.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
Just saw a new version of the 40th available for pre-order. Green tub. Looks pretty cool. Hope they're not done with the re-releases though. Got my heart set on an rc10 graphite chassis.

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
I'm pretty disappointed to see this kit will come with a 6 gear tranny. Now I'm feeling even better that I decided to pick up one of these new team car kits. That has a stealth tranny in it. Anyone else get the sense that AE should offer the stealth tranny as a kit on its own? That way anyone purcha...

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
So I did some digging on AE website and it seems like they are possibly on the same page as me... https://www.associatedelectrics.com/teamassociated/parts/details/6560-ASC6560-stealth_transmission_kit/ It's still marked as discontinued but the write up seems to be hinting at a new release. Anyone ag...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I've been following this thread from the beginning. Unfortunately I didn't get all of the info here until after I placed my order. The conversation here has certainly dampened my excitement about it but not completely drowned it out. I have so much respect for MachV and all that he does for the hobb...
