I love it the way related topics are suggested, no matter how old they are.

Re: Anyone know how to ship from US to Aus/NZ?

Pirate ship with insurance. Works great and not too pricey. Make sure they know that you are not responsible for any import duty or tax that is assessed when it gets there.

Re: 2024 VONATS rides

Most of the test stuff on the gold pan isn't noticeable unless you know exactly where to look. The biggest drag area is the rear most of the chassis, so I trimmed the A down to reduce that. Seems to help. Fan is a must with 17.5 open in NC summer indoor

Not a ton faster in later rounds but the tire options expanded to give some different advantages. We went from low tread Ellipse to reverse mowhawk Ellipse to Slick, driv...

Re: Vintage team checkpoint brushes

For telling the truth, I forgot which size are the Checkpoint brushes. But it seems there is a difference between real slot brushes and the ones used by Checkpoint. The Checkpoint ones came with shunt wires, as with usual brushes for R/C motors. Brushes for Slot motors never came with shunt wires. T...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne

Gonna take you back to an very important car in my rc history. 1989. This was my ultima that was modified as much as my budget for a 16 year old could afford mowing lawns (which I still do to this day for a living). Our local track converted to dirt oval. It was a very loamy heavily watered soil so ...

Entering my Kyosho Pro-XRT stadium truck. Picked this up early 2021 and spent a little over a year collecting needed parts before starting the build process. Finished the build and installed electronics a couple years back, and just recently finished the body which is a TBG repro with MCI decals. Tr...
