Yeah lightening holes in a few things.
Cutting the kickup off a really nice jrx2 chassis.
Probably others I'm not thinking of. Umm getting back into the hobby and quadrupling (or more) my collection?

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I felt like the Tekin buggy needed a gold nose plate and shocks for the gold ESC and motor plate. And black front shock tower.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Built up an old chassis I had kicking around, this tub is twisted and bent, and a few holes drilled out for some reason. I left it with the powder coater a while back and said to surprise me. I dig the orange! I installed the Ten4.1 kit, short arm version Also has the irs-10 trailing arm set which w...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Another Tami RM2 Mk.5. This guy on FBMP had this for $25! I originally just got with him and told him he was low, then when we got to talking and I just bought it from him, for a bit more. Think I am going to look into the small changes from the Mk.5 - Mk.7, and see how difficult it would be to conv...

A&L Yokomo Prototype parts
Thanks to Daryl's son Adam, who sent me some awesome blueprints, I was able to recreate the arms (rears are 2°) and gearbox that Chris used for the 89 Reedy race. The parts were originally machined by Chris by hand, and Daryl later decided to draw them to see about production. Apparently that just n...

Re: Lipo Question
I'd be just as suspicious of the 1060. They are known for going in and out of "limp mode". Any time I use one in something that I intend to run hard, it gets a capacitor bank or similar.
Unless you get the caps cheap, a 1080 makes more sense.
