Re: Transmission Internal Drive Ratios
Ultima rere is 3.79:1 Holy Cow?! I assume this would apply to the '87 JJ Ultima, as well? Man, it will be hard to find a pinion gear big enough to optimize a 21.5 setup! Kyosho offers a 51t spur gear for brushless motors. Stock is 57t. OTW126B https://i.postimg.cc/kGzMcBgc/D653CE78-21FF-495F-9C36-2...

Re: The 'Holiest' of Holy Grails AGI Jammer Build
One question about flipping the gearbox around to do a mid motor. Isn't a reverse rotator motor needed, or a 0 degree timing motor that can be run reverse polarity for driving forward? I've always flipped the top shaft direction when I do a mid motor to keep motor rotation in the normal direction. ...

Re: Jammin Jay RC10
Hardened stuff generally should be ground or filed instead of drilled. Just gotta be careful not to overheat it as you risk warping them. The jammin jay kit is perfect though!

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
More racing with the B6.4. one thing is for sure, this car is durable. During my first qualifier another buggy jumped a pipe onto the straight and nailed me. My car came out unscathed! Took the B main but flubbed in the A. Oh well, progress was made at least! Also did some practice with the Schumach...

Re: What random thing did RogueIV design today?
All three pieces of luggage all had this shoddily designed button break. Really fun when you're trying to put your luggage on the plane. Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finally busted out the CVDs from their package and put them on the DS

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Some silvercan racing and runnnig the JRX Pro SE for the first time. There were hiccups. I blew up a belcrank immediately when i bound my radio as the horn wasn't set to center. Thankfully Chris at RCM allowed me to dive into the boneyard and i wrestled a belcrank out of a very dirty JRX2. Got some ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Swapped out the broken outdrive and prepped the JRX ProSE for racing tomorrow. Had to steal some parts from my X5 to do it as the parts I ordered didn't arrive yet but it'll be back together.
I'll make a build thread for this car at some point soon.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Currently Racing IMG_20250119_003111728_HDR.jpg IMG_20250119_145141639.jpg Racing concluded. Track is a bit tricky with low power, jumps were a bit too long for even my 17.5 buggy had to go wide for the run up of one of them. Silvercan we just had to single them. JRX ProSE did a lot better this time...
