Re: RC10Talk - Celebrating 19 Years!

Wow, congrats, I had been away from Hobby for a lot of years and discovered here in 2009. I have to say I miss the activity and community that was here back then. Lot's of trading, detailed build threads and helpful environment. FB is just not the same to me. Seems more of a look at what I have you ...

Re: The Next Level: Team Losi JRX2

Just stumbled across this thread, figured I'd update it after 14 years. I own this car now, lucked into buying it a number of years ago. It lost a few decals over the years, I added a couple new ones of my own. Has some minor oxidation on the battery braids and solder. Other than that, she's still i...

Re: The most "rare" production RC10 ever... (RC10 GX ?)

I think you'd have to lay out some kind of guidelines to this. If you're gonna take the rc10 graphite and say the Japan GX version is the rarest, well, you'd have to consider the rc10 kits that came with painted Andy's bodies. Kits that came with Novak Rooster esc's. The late graphite team cars with...

Movies ? James lives next door ! Lovely chap just a pity about all the gunfire and cars screeching around at all times of the day and night , HRH Harry across the road is always complaining at the neighbourhood watch meetings but what can you do ?

Back for awhile

Wow, when was the last time I was here? Been awhile. Went big car racing so the vintage collection went bye bye. Still have a small bit of RC10s laying around. Army moved us to Fort Leonard Wood, MO back in April 2017. Lost a son a couple years later so was looking for something to do to keep my min...

Is scr8p going oval racing again?

There's a new shop not too far from my place. They have a few slot car tracks, and an indoor carpet oval..... also an outdoor dirt oval that they finished just before winter hit. A few guys I raced with back in the day race there. One of them is the race director. He also builds/designs his own cars...

Texas Winter Storm

I’ve lived in Texas since 1986 and haven’t seen weather like what we’re having this week. Houses and power grid not set up for this. Frozen pipes, no power, store shelves bare, no gasoline, hotels booked, roads treacherous, etc. I even had snow in my attic that blew in through the roof vents, but do...

Re: Duplicolor Metalcast

Thanks for posting this. I have no first-hand experience with Metalcast but I've used a lot of Duplicolor paints over many years and I've always found it to be some of the very best rattle can paint on the market. They use a unique nozzle on their cans that lays down a very even coat that allows the...
