Mugen Super Sport '92 buggy
Hello all, I'd like to share my build of a Super Sport '92 buggy. The Super Sport ended with the final '93 version and was replaced by the Athlete in 1994. It won the 1990 IFMAR Worlds in Thailand and was in fact leading the 1992 IFMAR A-mains in Germany before radio issues struck. I've always had a...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
8 months worth of buying while overseas.....finally made it back to the U.S. to get all the goodies! If I'd have gotten all this for Christmas back in 1987 I'd have been suspicious that my parents might've won the lottery or somethin  20240625_020806-min.jpg 20240625_020821-min.jpg 20240625_020...

Factory Works Ten4.1 project
OK OK even I got caught up in the last MIP "announcement". Should have known. So, lets do it again. The Ten4 was good, but the parts are just all out of date. The B44 front axles especially. Materials have vastly improved. Ideas have improved. Announcing the Ten4.1 I started by completely ...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
no plans to limit it, but they will be done in runs. If the first 25 pulley sets sell, ill order more. I cant afford to get a couple hundred and then have nobody buy em like last time lol.

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
OK OK even I got caught up in the last MIP "announcement". Should have known. .... Unlike Mr. Moore, Jeff won't hype us up and then put out a quick release screwdriver handle instead of this kit.... I knew there would eventually be a place to put this..... CB1_SP1C.jpg Great project, GoMa...

Team Associated RC10DS Ad
1996 would see the last new model built on Associated's aluminum RC10 tub when they debuted their 1/10th scale pavement car, the RC10DS. Black anodized just as before, the chassis received a new bolt-on nose plate with 8 degrees of kickup and DS specific bulkheads, lowered shock tower, shorter a-arm...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
Here is the direction I'm headed on the front end. One printed part. And even that might end up being machined or molded
Versus here is the old way

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?
Those are great rear tires... But, Tamiya Holiday Buggy tires are what he ran. Thanks for the info! Maybe I'll set out to find a pair of those Holiday Buggy tires at some point, but the sidewall writing on the Pro-Line's is my favorite look of that period. Going to have to be a loose interpretation...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
Is there any chance the kits could also include a quick release screwdriver handle? I feel like that could come in handy in the build.

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Came out of work this evening to this. It turned its head right toward me. It reminded me of the book Mantis by Richard La Plante. A very underrated book imo. Yes, my car needs a wash bad...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
Got a little further tonight. Redesigned the steering cranks for some extra throw, and designed a new belt tensioner that should be a lot easier to use. The final piece will be machined aluminum. The slotted portion retains a nut so to adjust you just loosen the screw slightly and you don't have to ...
