Re: Help, who made these chassis for me way back when
I think I may be the one that cut the TMS chassis, pretty sure you had an original and we used it as a pattern. This would have been back in the pin router days.

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
Well considering how quickly I jumped on the opportunity to get the Fan RC FR-01 I don't see how I could pass up this opportunity if it should arrive. I'm more excited about the prospect of having parts available through associated to restore my tattered graphite car from the 90's.

Re: Receiver switch
I've never had a receiver with a switch. If using an esc, the switch on the esc controls all power (via it's bec). If using a separate receiver power pack or external bec, an inline switch can be used. Ok, I've 0nly had old electronics and this is the first time I've gone newer than early 90s. Alwa...

yes, standard red jst plug. Just remember that neutral goes to the center pin on those oldies. Red to the outside of the case.

Re: Need: Keyence A-07R manual
I think this is the same as the Rz, which I believe is the same as the R with the addition of a current limiter. Well, at least it looks the same. https://acuvance.co.jp/pdf/download-english/p2_26.pdf?fbclid=IwY2xjawITQB5leHRuA2FlbQIxMAABHQOXjbl8cLWOILKbN1Vlwlr_zHBHW-AqzZpMiXlchdY-P4aag_1mjtWLsw_aem...

Frankenshorty RC10 buggies - #2: The Stubbie Tub
This started as a trial to see what I could do with an unloved gold pan tub. It started with some snipping and bending. 1000014281.jpg 1000014282.jpg 1000014283.jpg It finished up with brazing, filling, sanding/filing/grinding, and some painting. Then assembly with standard A stamp parts... 10000142...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Took my B4 basher out for some street running. The Traxxarse XL5 ESC sometimes wouldn't allow reverse. I remember that's been a problem before with this ESC. I think I need to replace it with one of the $5 Spektrum units I got (thanks for the tip juicedcoupe).

I learned on a stick radio and can pick one up and drive equally terrible with it as with a pistol grip
