Re: RC10 DS steering wander - won't return to center, not trim issue
Is the servo properly centered when installing it? If you are using a lot of trim, that could be effecting it. Also, Futaba 3003's are known for centering issues. The older S148 was much better. I have several 3003's and they don't center fairly often. But I'm just bashing around, so it doesn't matt...

Re: 1/12 scale Off-Road racing opinions
If you want to get modern kids into it, there better be something other than nostalgia to it. Because unless they grew up around RC, they don't care (even if they did, they probably still don't care about nostalgia). To me, I can't see anything affordable really coming out of a 1/12 offroad car. At ...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Are the ASC 6582 Diff Thrust Spring and ASC 6587 Torque Control Spring different from each other? - Or is it just that 6587 comes with the slipper locknut? ASC6587 spring and nut.jpg 82 is just the spring, 87 is the spring and nut. If you need a low profile 5-40 locknut, these are perfect. https://...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread

Follow-up: I am digging through boxes to rebuild some Stealth transmissions - I have one #6628 RC10 Diff Spring. - Is this one different from the other two (6582 and 6587)?? ASC6628 spring and nut.jpg 6 gear diff spring and nut. More specifically, the re-re. The original ...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I've spent the last few days fiddling with this Sassy Chassis RC10. Whitening some parts, re-dying others, and generally getting it fitted together.
I need to measure and order the turnbuckles and decide which shock towers I want Jeff to make for it.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Pardon my ignorance, but is there a top plate for this chassis? With no side skirts and no nose tubes, it would seem to be a bit flexy. Not that I'm aware of. But the one-piece design doesn't seem as flexible as you might think. It is wider than a standard chassis behind the noise. Even wider than ...

Re: RC10 Goldpan ESC advice
The only thing I’m really wondering about is wheels And tires - any recs? JC Racing has wheels that use modern 2.2 tires. Even though they are in GB, they ship pretty fast. Just be sure to get rears for 1/4" axles. And pay attention to which fronts you get. Wide fits standard 2.2 fronts, while...

Re: RC10 Goldpan ESC advice
The Stealth lube is for the ball diff, not the bearings. It is still available, part #6591. But any ball diff grease works. I normally use Arrowmax 210211 because it's easy to find and the tube is easier for me to use. For bearings, I use Lucas fishing reel oil. Fishing reel bearing oil is easy to f...
