Re: First post here
You must be rich! Nah, just a good provider. Probably helps that my account dates back to the late 90's. They still let me get new phones every couple years, either free or cheap. The contract doesn't bother me as I have no intention of changing (by far, the best coverage here). I got this phone sh...

Re: RC10B4/4.2 slipper conversion for the Stealth 2.25 - parts list
The current RPM covers clear the B4 slipper. BOKI (ebay) has some that look similar to original translucent ones but are redesigned for clearance.

Re: Fixing up the Frankentruck
If it's going to be a runner, I'd suggest getting rid of the 10T geometry bellcranks. You'll be happier with buggy sized ones.

Re: Any Super Bowl Predictions?
I predict I won't be watching. This. I wasn't a huge fan of the National Felons League before the whole kneeling thing started, and that sure didn't help. I doubt that I'll watch any of it. I'll probably go to bed early because I get up at 4 and because Mondays generally suck. I may check out the c...

Re: == Who the Heck Are You? ==
If I could figure out how to post pics I would. However I’d get lots of hate mail over broken screens so probably a good thing I don’t know how to. Here you go. I don't have time at the moment to do a picture tutorial but here's the short version. The following is using a Windows desktop computer s...

Re: Making a carbon fiber chassis the novice way
I'm sure something simple can get worked out for the rear bulkhead supports. The bulkhead wasn't attached to the sides on the graphite cars. It was attached to the bottom of the chassis and the transmission brace. The side attachment on the aluminum pan is to reduce the chance of bending the alumin...

Re: Stadium Blitzer rebuild
This is the Tamiya CVD at full droop on a Blitzer.
I've read that some other brands of DF-02 shafts are a little shorter and pop out.

Re: Brushed motors display stand
This is mine. Just a simple shelf board with a bunch of 1/8 holes in it. Screenshot_20220217-092245_Gallery.jpg These threads have pictures of several other people's displays. https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=40975 https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=44606 I like the s...

Re: Motor Collection - Old School Horsepower
Redid a Trinity Monster Mash and built another motor from parts. I had already cut the comm on the MM, so it just needed a good cleaning and freshening up. The decal was in poor condition and the can had some surface rust. Screenshot_20220219-134151_Gallery.jpg Screenshot_20220219-134138_Gallery.jpg...

Re: 2WD buggy from 2022 vs. 4WD buggy from 1992...who would win?
Given a driver that can use the modern car to its potential, the modern car should easily outpace it.
In the hands of someone like me, they'd both be equally slow (and probably crashed and broken).
