Oh yeah. For hardware and small pieces, a mesh tea ball works great.
They aren't but a few dollars at Walmart. Just be careful when removing them, as the latch pulls open kinda easy.

Re: Home Brew Connector Adapters
I always liked the "sermos" connectors (the top one in your pic). I think they were also called "power poles"? In the RC community, Servos and Litespeed were the common retailers. Anderson Powerpole is the name of the original connector, created in the 60's. Anderson products ar...

Re: Very racey RC10T
I just noticed that the servo is a Futaba S9304. My Team Truck came with that same servo when I bought it. Just thought it was a weird coincidence, as I've never seen many of them. Has to be one of the smoothest fastest servos I’ve ever had :D The one in my truck is so smooth that I often find the ...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
It's raining today, so I decided to clean up the shed a little. Snapped this while I was at it. I have more hanging from the ceiling but they are mostly loaners and such. Screenshot_20210914-154600_Gallery.jpg While there's a few others in the mix, I do like my Shimano reels. Just like my RC cars, m...

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Composite Craft or similar chassis with Andy's arms and a truck conversion (mostly).
The front axles look long. Possibly Team Crp axles for use with Tamiya truck wheels.
I have a buggy with many of the same parts.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
The first 10T trucks had the 2.25 Stealth. The six gear was never used in a truck from AE. I used to have a truck with a six gear. I was able to get a 90T (48P) spur gear in, with a slightly tweaked T2 gear cover. I think 84 or 87 was the largest that would fit the standard cover, and 81 in a RPM co...

Re: The dog thread
Was looking through some older pics and ran across this one.
While unloading groceries, I came back out to this.
This picture was a couple years ago, so he is a little taller and a good bit thicker now.

Re: First paint attempt electric boogaloo
I always do the inside and outside of my wings different colors. I also paint my wings from the bottom, instead of the top. That way, the wing always matches the body and I'm able to back-coat in whatever color I want. That is a JConcepts Finnisher wing. I have on on this car, also painted in Tamiy...

Re: Rc10GT axle and 12mm hex conversion
The rear offset is a little narrower than factory and the front offset is a little wider than factory. So it sounds like either set would be fine, but the front offset would clear everything without trouble. This truck uses Traxxas Nitro Rustler rear wheels, which have the same offset as electric f...

Re: Novak 410-HPc score/question
The JR plug will plug into a Futaba J slot. The white wire goes to the side with the tap.
Just be sure that it isn't pinned for the early Airtronics plug.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Now all I have to figure out is how to get photos from my Android onto my Mac book...They don't play well together. If they are under 3mb upload them direct from your phone or email them to yourself and save the file to your Mac for resizing Bluetooth should be the simplest. Or, just upload them fr...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Dumb and dumber!
My stupid dog and my neighbor's stupid pony.
Sorry it isn't real clear. I was zoomed in from a good distance.
