Re: Do I need different tired lengths with the rpm long cups
This is all three sizes. The AE 6274 cups are 16mm OAL, 6mm wide, and have 9mm thread depth. These were recently discontinued but can still be found. The standard RPM cup is 20mm OAL, 7.5mm wide, and have 13mm thread depth. The long RPM cup is 26mm OAL, 7.5mm wide, and have 19mm thread depth. They a...

Re: More AE parts being discontinued
If you don't need a "correct" end, just about any short 3mm end will work. You may need some spacers or shims on some front arms.

Re: How to clean/refurbish steel ball studs?
Replace them.
The ones from Custom Works are nice, and they retain the 4-40 thread.

Replace them. The ones from Custom Works are nice, and they retain the 4-40 thread. Are you referring to these https://www.customworksrc.com/product/short-hex-drive-ball-stud/ if they fit the stock ball cups I may keep a set in my kit for spares For now I'm going to keep the stock studs. They have ...

Re: Gold pan question
Prices on RC10 aren't "insane now" at all. There's plenty of great cars being sold for under $100USD and more than a few going for under $70USD. Please share with us, where are these available? I'm serious! I just bought a complete car a few weeks ago for $140 on ebay. Granted, it needed ...

Re: RC10T - Purple Modern Build
Love this build... may I ask what kind of dye/process you did on the skinny front wheels? Looks fantastic! Thanks! I used Rit Dye. Very easy to do. Thanks!! The graphite is nice, when you can find it. But the basic black works well too. I dyed this transmission case with the regular black. It took ...

Re: Comical Grasshopper
Got the electronics and driver mounted. I hate painting those driver figures.
Since I used a vintage receiver, I had to mount it up front. There just isn't room in back.
And finished. Painted in Duratrax bright white.

Re: Find my old rc10b2 sport! 20years in box..
Nobody maybe knows, but kinda curious how many of these in original good condition there is  A B2 is probably the rarest of RC10's, except maybe the original Worlds cars. They had a short production run before being replaced by the B3, and there was a kit available to convert them into B3'...

Re: Vintage Kyosho servo specs
I found this Actually already figured out what this servo is but figured I'd add to Google's database so the next guy that searches the internet gets better info on it than I did. ks91servo.jpg Googling based on the KS-91 model number vaguely suggests this is a Kyosho servo but no specs or official ...

Re: Re-re-release Dogbone(?) falling out?
Do the shocks have the limiters in them? They should have ~5/8" of spacers inside each rear shock.
If they don't, the rear arms will drop too much and allow the bones to fall out.
There should also bee small springs in the axles that keep the bone seated in the transmission outdrive.

Re: TQ Tires
A Schumacher 6786 will fit the rears if you trim about 1mm from the inner mounting bead. I turned the tires inside-out and trimmed them with body scissors. They have a wide profile, so shock clearance can be tight at full compression if you use the outer hole. A Traxxas 1771 fits the front perfect. ...
