Re: Anyone tried this? Yellowed parts white
It took them 30 years to dry out. I think that you're good for a while.srobert910 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 20, 2025 2:21 pm My concern now is, should I further treat the parts to keep them from drying out again? Like a protectant? I’d never use armor all on anything, but maybe something similar. Silicone spray maybe?

Re: MY GOLD PANS
That Hobbywing brushed motor is a 555, 5 slot. It's a slow crawler motor.
But there are plenty of other options.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Not all today, but I started tweaking the "Junkyard Frog". I swapped out the original hex drives for CVD's, with the outdrives getting the Frogshot mod. I also swapped to a Dynamite 20T (previously had a Team Brood 27T). 20250323_131828.jpg The front end was especially sloppy, even for an ...

Re: Current Radio For 90s RC10GT
So all that stuff is compatible? My experience has only been to buy all that stuff as a package. With minor differences in the plug shape, pretty much all three wire servos are compatible with current receivers. Everyone uses compatible wiring now. Not all receivers have the slot for a Futaba J plu...

Re: My graveyard of carcasses has arrived
These two holes are for mounting the battery cup inline. A stamp cars had the battery mounted transverse. All of my A stamp cars have been modified for inline batteries.

Re: Old school Proline wheels, what plastic are they?
I have put older Pro-line wheels in acetone to remove glue and paint without any issues. Do you submerge them or suspend them above in a sealed container? Two at a time, stacked in a glass container. Bottom one submerged, top in vapor area. Swap every now and then. That set of wheels was in pretty ...

Re: ** Hopelessly Incomplete Project of the Month - April 2025 **
Parma California Sport Truck. Hasn't moved under it's own power in 20 years. I did verify that everything still works. I swapped in matching Duratrax electronics and did a little work on it several years ago (battery strap and blue hardware), then lost interest again. The body has seen better days b...
