This is one that I did a few years ago. It is a Boki body with MCI decals. Decals applied with Windex and a hair dryer.
The overlapping rear stripes are the real pain.

Soaking in lighter fluid will also soften and release it. It also doesn't leave residue.

The f1 tires are supposed to fit DS wheels. Should work the other way as well

I was wondering if one was a tight fit or not.

Like how you can put a 2.1 tire on a 2.2 wheel but not the other way.

Many times, toy grade transmitters and receivers are programed different.

For instance, X-Mods. The crystals work with all 27mhz AM radios, but the transmitters aren't compatible with hobby grade receivers.

Just guessing, but I suspect that this car was originally an A stamp car and the chassis was replaced at some point. I've got a couple sets of early style Stampede/Rustler wheels that are dyed black.

Probably some of the first parts that I ever dyed.
