Restored LXT - FIXED PICS 08/22/2012 :)

Hi Guys I'd link to post a link to an article I wrote a while ago for a french-speaking site (sorry, that's my native language) which describes in details a full resto for the first Losi car I ever owned, the almighty LXT (which I think would still be a raceworthy contender today!) as well as says a...

not vintage-related at all...

I've been a fan of The Onion for years... Problem is, since I moved out of the US 10 years ago, I haven't been able to share the fun with the locals around here as people just don't seem to appreciate all the references to the US culture that these guys keep hammering in your face... And a lot of th...

Re: Old is New JrxPro SE

That's a sweet build - the xcellerator bod fits awesome on that tub!!! I think what's missing (barring the front bulkhead screws as pointed out already  ) is hop-up turnbuckles... the stock Losi ones from bitd aren't on my favourites list, really, but then again to each his own :) This thin...

Re: Who owns every generation RC10?

/With the rich history of the RC10, it's a bit hard to define what "every generation" means, really, as there have been so many "transitional" versions... do you make a difference between the early edinger and the edinger? Or, do you consider all gold-panned, 6G short front arms ...

Re: Today's build

Weird how your pics show tilted on screen, but when you click on them they show straight?!? maybe a cellfone thing? as in its tilted sideways and doesn't tilt when transferred to the upload? I've fixed up worse than that Losi  Todd could be... yeah, agree, that losi is dirty but it could be a ...

Re: Andy's Chassis RC10T Build

Looking good. Not really feeling the yellow RPM stuff though. I actually like it - best way to "recycle" RPM parts that have unexpectedly turned yellow in the H2O2  I think it's a nice match with the A&L steering and the yellow front bumper. What it needs now is a set of (yel...

Re: Kyosho Rerelease Mod

Nice mods, but I don't think that blue Yeah Racing cooling fan on your Optima will do anything to cool the motor Unless Siang drilled/removed metal from the top part of the motor guard to create airflow, that is :) Yes, i do trim some material off the motor guard, for the fan to sit flush and incre...

Re: The tale of 3 builds -OR- How projects multiply mysteriously

that's a LOT of traxxas goodness on this thread!!! Lovely 80's color schemes, paint jobs, dies, and all... Yes, AE caps fit on trx shocks, there isn't much threading available though, so be careful. Other solution if you don't like the blue cap accents is do deano them with over cleaner, bare alumin...

Re: Bormac's TRX-1 runner - HELP

Hi Jason,

if this helps - a B4 turnbuckle kit is pretty darn close to stock for a TRX-1 - some minor dremeling is needed.

Joe's method is still better, though - then you can get the exact, right lengths.
