Thanks guys I did get a Reedy motor/ESC during Black friday. Saved a little on the two. Fitting both in the chassis was fairly tight. I have used poster tack or it's called sticky tack.
For the black wheels I think I might try black butyl putty.
The non-hardening black putty is used in automobiles for all sorts of things.
