The 2WD buggy that handily beat the RC10 in 1987
I pulled the trigger on a vintage 1987 Ultima because of its unique place in racing history...I wanted to get under the hood of one. The Kyosho Ultima buggy did a 1,2,3 sweep at the 1987 2wd IFMAR world championships. This car made Team Associated what it is today to some degree. There is a nice wri...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
I'm gonna break the rules and post a picture that I've never actually taken. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. This image is from Google maps. This "T" shaped bridge is the exact spot where the Enola Gay dropped "Little Boy" on August 6th, 1945. hiroshima.jpg That domed stru...

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Re-re #4 / Modern Masami Replica - '94 Winterchamps
Adding some cropped pics that Nick got of my car at the Vonats. With yellow wheels, that was the B main on Saturday. With the red/white combo, the car is being wheeled by Team Associated/Jconcepts driver Lee Setzer Sunday morning. I had the 3rd fastest lap of the event in 2wd. He went a second faste...

Re: Ultima Worlds Spec
This is a beautiful buggy. I like the peppermint color. I guess Akira raced with this paint scheme at the 87 race maybe?
After the Tamiya Astute original, this would be second in terms of appearance for me...very sleek.

Re: RC10B1.5 resto mod
Got the B2 body painted and stickered up. It was a total rush job but the stickers help hide blems and paint bleed. I'm calling this one done, just going to glue up a set of new rear double dee's and sprinters to try out. In the last pic, it sits next to it's WOIN B3 sibling.

and the graphite finally makes an appearance
6030 graphite? They are showing the 89 car and description so it's hard to say for certain, but they don't show any other older kits- 6010, 6011, etc ..

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
So far they are showing the 1989 car and description so it's hard to say what we are really looking at currently. I thought they were just cataloging the old kits but they haven't done any of the others

Re: and the graphite finally makes an appearance
And you save $198!!!!
Off a price we made up on the fly and was never an actual price at all. Should have made the original price $838, and they could state that it is now half off!!!
