Re: A LITTLE MORE LOSI HISTORY
If I may add...Pop Losi owned a skateboard company called Variflex, which was a reasonably successful company and Allen Losi rode for them. After Pop Losi sold the company to a toy store chain,Allen started up the first Team Losi. Pop Losi also owned a very popular skatepark, called the Del Mar Skate ...

PB diff issue
Another real issue I have had with both my Mustang and Maxima has been with the metal diff parts. Running in high grip situations coupled with stonger voltage (lipo's), esc's and motors I have found the steel diff outdrive parts to cause issue. Where the little M2.6 cap head screw goes through one o...

Nomad Factory Works C2.1
Here we have some pics of my C2.1 that I have been slowly getting together. It has custom parts made by myself, GoMachV, and lots of AVID parts. I'm trying to stick with a black and silver them. Lots of stainless steel hardware and Factory Works "cool things" black anodized washers. There'...

Re: Optima Mid Runner Budget Build
So, the longer WB car uses a longer upper and lower chassis plate, belt, and belt covers? Oh, and a longer body I guess. Is that it or are there other differences?

Re: Turbo Optima Mid - Restoration
I then ordered a replacement screwset from RC-Schrauben. Really worth it, especially due to the fact I had all sorts of random screws holding it all together. While I was fitting these, I noticed the upper deck was cracked at the narrow point screw hole. Saw that fibre-lyte made some replacements, I...

Re: Grasshopper 2 or Hornet
It doesn't appear to have the rubber O ring friction dampers on top of the front springs so that says Grasshopper to me .

Re: Grasshopper 2 or Hornet
Judging from the rear body mounts, I'd say its a Hornet with a Grasshopper body. The front wheels appear to be from a fox and have tamiya super gripper tires. The rear tires are standard Hornet tires. Both the Grasshopper and Hornet came with the nerf bars. The Hornet and Grasshopper share the same ...

Re: Mark 1 Ultima ( turbo?)
Very nice work!! I've just pulled a couple examples and the rere bumper is actually a little smaller than the original version. Of course, it will still fit but I'm surprised that it isn't an exact copy. Anyway, nearly every other molded rere part is same as original - the transmission cases being t...
