Re: jwscab's Cliff Lett ROAR 90 replica
Thanks all! Yeah the paint and decal application were quite nerve wracking. Then I was so happy how it turned out I took it to VONATS but never followed up with photos. I'm very satisfied how it turned out. I would like to get the shocks a little closer and have a couple of plans. Hoping to stumble ...

Re: Scr8p's Worlds Rere #5 / Modern Masami Replica - '93 Worlds
Not much, but I got new JC Racing wings for both Masami modern reps. I also spent some time on MCI's website designing a sticker sheet to complete all 3 of my Masami replicas. Just need to have them made, and get the bodies painted for these 2. A few electronics too.

Re: Turbo Optima Mid + Turbo Optima Mid SE build/restore
The build thread still lives on here https://www.kyosho-optima.com/midse.html
I referred to it many times during my ongoing Turbo Optima Mid SE thread.

Re: Rc10 Worlds rere rims for the old worlds car
A rim is a component of a wheel. Bicycles, for example, have rims that are connected to the hub via a set of spokes. Assembled, they make a wheel. If you're speaking about the cylindrical part that connects the tire to the axle, then it's a wheel. Also, it's "anyway" not "anyways"...

My JRX2 restore/race build
Hey all, I picked up a JRX2 a couple weeks back originally with the intention of just restoring it but now I’ve decided to get her running in the local 17.5 class. First, a little backstory about myself: I started racing off road Production class with my box stock RC10 in 1986 (IIRC) here in Las Veg...

Re: Ronbo's RC10 Graphite to Masami 89 RC10GX
Just an acrylic clear coat for now. Im hoping i will learn how to restore it to new, but for now i just sealed the edges with CA glue and the clear coat. Working on the body right now since its decent weather here.

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica (Photo Comparison Uploaded)
Congrats, this is an awesome project, I love it! I am thinking about making a kind of "replica" too, but with some changes. Explained in a simple way: a optically-not-so-perfect replica but strong enough to play with it every day in every weather and with every (evil!) brushless-set. The r...

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica (Photo Comparison Uploaded)
Almost a bit deceiving, that this "magical" Stealth Car is so closed to B4 and B5 in terms of suspension geometry. Do you think it is worth building one? Is the handling different enough from the B4 and B5? If I would build one, then I would do it no only for the look, I would also be inte...

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica (Photo Comparison Uploaded)
It's been said that the 89 stealth car evolved into the b2/b3, and the 91 stealth car evolved in to the b4. The only major difference is the change in front c-hub design to get rid of the dropped spindle. Since the 91 world's, the tracks have become smoother and faster which means that dropped spind...

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica (Photo Comparison Uploaded)
Yeah cool, thanks for this information. Does anybody have CAD-files of the '91 Stealth Car an would share them, so i could compare in detail? That would be very nice!

<RC10 Laydown Ver.4>
I modified RC10 laydown ver.2 in page 5. Rear shocks are placed in front of rear arms. I will report how to make it.

Re: My RC10 (runner)
<RC10 Laydown Ver.4> To move the rear shocks forward, you need to make a shock tower mount. I used the RC10GT transmission brace (ASC7670) and RC10B44 shock tower mount (ASC9714) and those are combined. RC10LD_2.jpg RC10LD_3.jpg RC10LD_4.jpg My friend made it for me and used aluminum to strengthen i...

Re: My RC10 (runner)
I have to say what an outstanding build!
I might try something similar with my mid motor conversion. Currently I have the shocks and tower all the way in the back, which places the wing even further back.
Very inspirational!
