Re: Spring advice

Kyosho SCW026 set is worth checking out too. Adding that small spacer you mentioned could help dial in the height and stiffness.

Re: Spring advice

Just recently someone here also mentioned that Schumacher still offers non-big-bore springs that could work for your case.

Re: Spring advice

Sorry for the late reply, but as I mentioned in another thread the Schumacher small bore springs would work very well. In your case probably with a 3-4 mm tube under the cup. Of course this depends on your wheels (in case you are racing with 2.2) and your desired final ride height. Here is the front...

Re: What random thing did RogueIV design today?

All three pieces of luggage all had this shoddily designed button break. Really fun when you're trying to put your luggage on the plane. Re: Cox/Kyosho speed controls

Got it in, still waiting on some 16ga wire to finish the motor side, and I’m seeing (thanks to juicedcoupe!) that the servo plate is attached upside down. When I got this car years ago it was partially assembled in a box, and no instructions , so that link is awesome! I may print a copy just for a k...

Thanks sir! Lol after I took it out of the Halsey it’s just been sitting in its tube on my work bench. It’s too pretty not to display in something. The Tomahawk is my crown jewel, so the 240 is perfect for it.

Factory Works SRB X2 project

Machined delrin cases for SRB are finally here, and I had some bearing holders machined as well so I can offer the Tamiya version of the trailing arm kits. I'll have both on the website in a few days. To test the gearbox I made up some trailing arms for lay down shocks (as I lack any vintage roll ba...

Re: Hirobo 44Bs and Zerda :)

The dremel workstation is crap, the arrowmax mini drill too slow... I took a different approach considering that the proper guiding would be enough to make proper holes with just the normal drill if I pay attention to make it right... Two drill bits broken later, I have my 4 shafts for the diff. htt...

Re: Factory Works SRB X2 project

Been working on a diff as well. Tamiya has a ball diff and im not a fan of their design TBH. There isnt a lot of room and another ball diff on the market seems silly, so I am working on a planetary diff instead. Considered a bevel diff but the gears would be much harder to have machined. Tried worki...
