So I am finally getting closer to completing my Tekin conversion RC10 and cant seem to find a good body that fits well. Any suggestions or pictures of bodies on the old Tekin chassis? I went with the black and gold theme.

Hobbico made a set of gold universal drive shafts in gold. I bought two pair a long time ago, used one in a custom build and was planning on using this pair for a future build. part number is HCAC7010, you might be able to do a search.

Finally got the icing on the cake!! Just got done triming up the new Renegade body from Andy and it came out perfectly! Dont really like the red S&K decal I put on the back but I guess it will work. Looks great with all my other shelf queens!

Does anybody know which outer hinge pins go in the RPM narrow rear end kit. 6381 pins are too long and will hit my wheels if pushed to one side. I have another worlds with the RPM kit and the pins fit flush with the end but it has been years since I built that car and cant remeber which ones I used.

Finally got my new Andys Renegade body coming, can't wait to see it mounted on my buggy!! Will post pics when it arrives.

I wanted to keep it period correct, should I leave the MIP transmission in it or use a trackmaster tranny? Also would the barts front arms be correct as well? I was also thinking of using these old slotted wheels I have instead of the Tecnacrafts, any thoughts?

I recently acquired this awesome Big Boy Toys sprint car and it appears that it has never been run and only sat on the shelf, hence the pile of dust on top of the chassis..lol. I plan on tearing it apart and polishing up the chassis but was curious if it was all original? It has Andys front arms, MI...

Slowly but surely I got some more work done. Powdercoated the springs flourescent yellow and painted the shocks flat black for a good contrast and came out great! Nice scores, I saw them on flea bay but they were too rich for my blood. It's crazy how much they are bringing now, wish I still had all the ones I raced back in the days.

I don't think dhawk makes a silver 6 gear case, only gold. Chris at Rouge Elements is your only option for the silver 6 gear, otherwise you can strip the gold one and polish it up.
