Re: My OIN Worlds whatever you want to call it racer.
This hex conversion for the rear is Awesome! Thanks for putting the list of parts together. I was able to convert my rere easily and with minimal parts ordering. (This was after trying the B44 CVA Bone which was too long.) I also ordered the list previously provided by RC10th. I ordered some specifi...

Re: RC10 B1.5 - Build #1 and #2
So, the original truck nose plate becomes the template for where to drill the holes for the buggy nose plate. The 3 new holes in the chassis re moved back about 12mm. Which can be confirmed by measuring the 2 sets of nose tube holes that are about 12mm apart from each other. So everything shifts bac...

Re: Shearing Bell Crank Screws
Thanks guys. When I was a teenager I never owned loctite nor applied to to any of the screws. All the green screws seemed to have more "bite" when tightening. A loose screw is definitely going to under go some fatigue loading real quick and with the combo stated it will quickly fail. I wil...

Re: LA/OC vintage meet up?
Hey Guys, I'm going to travel south to hang with my long time friend Eric. We are going to race at OCRC on Friday Night (8/8) and then race again at SDRC on Saturday (8/9). I will be racing my Worlds RE-RE both days. I just painted this body for the trip too. Otherwise I will signup for sportsman 17...

Shearing Bell Crank Screws
I never had a chance to upload a pic of my car. So this is my Worlds RE RE. It's a very stock and meant to be a car to race here and there and drive laps at the track. So after driving at the track 5 times I have managed to shear the left bell crank screw off due to some crashing and what not. I wou...

Re: Gearing a 17.5T BL
Just bought some more pinions. I was running 81x21 (FDR=8.68) because I read the manual incorrectly for my setup. I'm going to try 81x30(FDR 6.08) on the next outing. Based on this thread 81x30 should get me more in the ball park of modern gearing. Glad this thread exists.

This thread is super rad.
I only have 4 RC Car actions from back in the day, and this magazine is in that collection. Thanks for bringing the pages of this magazine to life. The build is awesome! Cant wait to see the final product.

Hi Ron,
I am also a Sacarmentan and I just got restarted. If you are headed to LSR tonite maybe I will get to see your RC10 cars.

Hello from Sacramento
My name is Jim and I am born and raised here in Sacramento CA. I started RC racing at Sacramento Miniwheels in the early 90's with some all plastic car that had a 540 motor and a 2 Liter bottle as a body. I graduated to a Futaba Falcon after the soda racer. Then, finally, a RC10 Team Car (just befor...
