Re: '91 WC Stealth vs B4
great stuff justin. are you guys still going through with your version of the 1991 stealth? Definitely moving forward with having a chassis cut. The NIX components are first rate and thus far tie out to the dimensions we have so it doesn't appear to be any reason to replicate those pieces. The sole...

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
How can i get the natural nylon look with the shapeways material? It looks more pure white... I used super diluted Rit dye to achieve the nylon look on my car. I conducted research through the Rit dye website which shows custom colors to find the shade that was close to what I needed. I ended up mi...

Look at old those NOS goodies! Be sure to post pix once you have it completed. If running on an indoor track with undertray it should stay in good shape. Just keep off the track when the SC guys show up.

Re: yokomo clearance from original distributor.
I sent Ultimate Customer Service an email with my want list and also called them today. The rep on the phone made it sound like they had nothing left. I gave him my list and asked that he called me back if he had anything in stock. If anyone swings by these are the items I'm looking for: 1. Spring S...

Re: RE RE STEALTH TRANS
The cases from associated are not NOS they are however made from the original mold. The last ones of the originals to come from the factory were black, the newest ones are a grayish color and are noticeably different than original (I have just received 4 of them). I'm not talking about the ReRe wor...

Curtis will be resolving this issue for us once the car gets back from Japan. I was about to have a 20 degree mold fabricated but with his willingness to help us I decided to wait
Pretty awesome when the original designers/builders are willing to take time to help on a project like this.

Re: NIX91 Questions and Answers
I am all for thicker upper deck especially after seeing what happened to Masami's car up front :) Yeah, we all know that Masami guy can't drive for beans.... I was a bit surprised to see how thin it actually was, I wonder why they went with the non symetrical top deck as some of the prototype cars ...

Re: RE RE STEALTH TRANS
I just rebuilt one of my original stealth tranny's from 1991 so I'll add a couple of things: - Associated still has NOS RC10T cases in stock which have no issues fitting properly. Back then there was only one case used for the team car and truck. - The top shaft gear from the re-re doesn't contain t...

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worl
Fred and I have talked about that front bulkhead from the beginning of our project and we always discussed modifying it and the top deck. I plan to cut a chassis with a 1.5mm top deck (accurate replica) and another with 3mm for racing. If you are going to race I think the 3mm makes the most sense; e...

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica COMPLETED!!!!!!
Hi guys. First off, I must say all your hard work has truly paid off. You guys did an amazing job on the build. I wish you would have reached out earlier about the kick-up angle. I could have measured it for you. I just sent Masami's Original 91 Stealth Car back to him on Thursday. I'm sure you hav...

Re: 91 Masami Stealth replica COMPLETED!!!!!!
The bell cranks on this car used the 10T hardware which is very difficult to come by. As I built the car, we ran into a couple problems which still exist with getting the 10T bellcranks bolts to tighten properly in the CF chassis. The solution was to make an optional ball bearing steering assembly ...

Re: Something Different
I have this RC10 with a few parts I've never seen before. I assume most are homemade, but I know I've seen the plastic shock bodies before. Can anyone Identify them? Thanks http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff437/evilash22/IMG_0939.jpg Very cool; looks like a home built stealth replica. Please po...
