Re: New from the UK

Welcome Stewart. It would be great to see the Cat2000, I had one when they were new.

Re: Tomy Intruder NIB

I would definitely build it! Half the fun is picking it up and playing with the suspension etc! And yes, a build thread with heaps of pics would be great :D

Re: SG Coyote

My experience with the SG plastic has been just to make sure they are at a decent room temperature of say 20 degrees C and upwards and they are quite ok.

Re: SG Coyote

The biggest issue I have with the shocks is that it needs softer springs and the kit ones are a very small diameter. In playing around any current 55mm length touring car shock will fit which means there is lots of spring choice. I am just looking for some plain silver ones to try and keep the look ...

Re: SG Coyote

Hi Trey, Yes I have done all the suspension now, just not the shocks. I was ok with the suspension balls, I just carefully pressed them in making sure they went in square. Afterwards I used bull nose pliers and gently squeezed the arms around the balls until they moved freely. Yes the diff is excell...

Re: SG Coyote

Very nice :) . I'm in the process of building a 2wd version as a runner. (just need to pull my finger out and get some photos up)

There are a few 2wd's available on ebay at present.

Re: Rc10L cleanup

ra272,

That looks great. There is something about the simplicity of the first 10L's that always draws me in! I miss mine :|

Re: Rc10L cleanup

Thats beautiful! I love the original 10L more than any other 10th scale pan car. I had one new when they came out and from memory had a reedy gold star motor.

Please post more photos when you can

Re: Novak Atom Power Capacitor

The ones I sourced are 'Suntan' brand (no joke). Chinese manufacture I suspect. I'll see how they go.

Re: Novak Atom Power Capacitor

This is quite confusing indeed. I found this page on the Novak site.

http://www.teamnovak.com/products/discontinued/power_cap.html

I guess as long as the capacitor doesn't damage the speedy it should matter.

Novak Atom Power Capacitor

Hi there, I am on the hunt for a replacement power capacitor for my Novak Atom. Should also be the same as used on the Cyclone from memory. Would anyone know the actual specs for this particular unit? I have done some googling and can only find a reference to a part number. All the current ones for ...

Re: Trinity Switchblade 10 Pro10

My Brother has one of these hanging on his wall in his study. I can still remember him running it at a state meeting in 1999 and placing 3rd. Awesome car especially with a 10x2 over 4 minutes :D
