Re: FWD-GT TOP SPEED CAR
It eventually defeated me and I just switched one of the wires at the motor. That's how it's done with BL. They sure look faster than they are, don't they? My 10GT with the LRP .32 sure looked like it was cooking along at 100, but the radar told us 82. Not easy to control, either, huh? Now imagine ...

Some of these people are either totally shameless or totally clueless (maybe both)

Re: RC10 "Resto-Mod"
I have thought about running a Velinion motor and ESC, Sacrilege! but I have also heard good things from friends who use Castle products. They're not bad for the money. My experience has been that they're not real smooth at low speeds, though (I mean like walking speed). Honestly, it's prett...

Re: Associated ESCs
That's what I'm saying; despite the rating, these ESCs don't seem to be able to take 3S.I don't think that the motor was the problem.
The ESC measured 151* right after it let the smoke out.Did you happen to check the temp of the esc?

Associated ESCs
So, maybe it's fluky or maybe no one else is running 3S on their Associated XP series brushless ESCs, but I thought I'd share my experience and perhaps save other people the headache. Anywho, I have just fried the second SC900BL ESC in less than a month. The first one lasted about 10 or 11 packs in ...

Re: Build a brushless buggy on a GT chassis?
Well, 'bout as done as it's gonna get. Definitely a competitor for a "strangest RC10 buggy" contest, if such a thing existed. It's pure AE except for the RRP gears, TRX hub adapters and OFNA rear wheels. Ended up with a 24T pinion and 62T spur; It's pretty much uncontrollable on 3S. And ye...

Re: OFNA Truggy ... Project Bumble Bee ... what did i do no
Tough stuff. AR500armor uses it as an anti-spawl coating on their level III ballistic plates. Bullets tear it up, but I expect it'll last a long time on an RC car. What's the skinny on Linex?

Re: OFNA Truggy ... what did i do now :(
trying to find a decent servo as the old one didnt have enough power to turn the wheels at a stand still I run Savox SC-0252MG servos in my Ultra Comp. Pretty good bang for the buck at $37. i still cant find alot of info for set up ie shock oil, diff fluid, etc Guess it depends on what you want to ...

Re: OFNA Truggy ... what did i do now :(
Looks like a heck of a score! Must've been some decent wheels you had. the sad part is i dont even like nitro .. i just cant leave anything stock Big block nitro in a tough 1/8 buggy or truggy is a whole different animal. I have an OFNA Ultra LX Comp with an LRP ZR.32 Spec 2, it is one quick buggy. ...

Re: GT body
does the gt2 body fit the blue chassis gt? It can. You'll just have the dimples where the holes should have been drilled for the GT2 mounts (far narrower) You can make most any body work if you get creative with posts and cuts. I've got a T3 body on one of my GTs, a GT2 body on my speedster GT, a R...

Re: FedEx package handling...this is pathetic
I package things with the expectation that they may be dropped or even stepped on, but there is a huge difference between accidental and what we see here. That goes beyond laziness or carelessness; it is downright malevolence. Having said that, all of these carriers have detailed tracking, and know ...

Re: FWD-GT TOP SPEED CAR
There does come a point where that is the case. I found with my beast GT that all the torque that OFNA .32 made just meant spinning out or flipping over pretty much all the time with a 2WD 1/10 truck.I don't think there will be a need for 6s. It would probably just be in useable power anyway

Re: FWD-GT TOP SPEED CAR
Turned out it was the diff. I had that happen on my GTe buggy with the SL550 3500 KV can on 3S. Completely cut the center out of the diff gear. It's metal now, and tight as can be. Definitely made a mess of those tires! From the looks of it, they were doing a fair amount of spinning. I'm bettin' fo...

You will need T4/GT2 axle stubs with T3 shafts.
