Re: What has happened over the past thirty years with the Scorpion?

Just beautiful Lars, you really did a superb job, all that editing must have taken a long time  There are a lot of bits I LOVE about the new re-release. I thought I would get the trailing arms, but looks like they are a tad thicker and very much rounded, compared to the original, they are thi...

Re: Brimod Shocks get "the treatment"

Other than that and the bleed screws in the caps, they're pretty normal. But those features were quite unusual back in those days. :) Interesting, thanks :) I've always wondered who was the first manufacturer to do threaded shocks... In 8th scale the earlier I found was Garbo, the Gepard already ha...

SLOW-MO VINTAGE KYOSHO BEETLE VID. Real cool, love the way the suspensions work and the freaking rear tires have so much spin to them!!

Re: Kyosho beetle rere

Are they going to do a 7-ribbed front tires? That would be realistic and cool. Wish they could up the body a little, add more details to it, possibly make it from hard plastic like tamiya. For performance and racing, a laxen works just fine though.

Re: Early MIP Transmisson Cleanup

Oh, so there were no 2 versions, ha ha ha, that's what I thought initially. Well MIP certainly did a good job at making these, they are really compact in nature, I like the simple rounds of the design. I have a stealth ball diff as well, well used, I will assemble that and keep as spare. I also have...

Re: Early MIP Transmisson Cleanup

OH, YES, that is where I first saw the diff, from your post and I followed the other links from it, Yes, I have the same one as yours except that the gearbox is white, I guess they either changed to white from black or vis-vesa OR made it side by side for preference from the buyer. The thing is thes...

Re: Early MIP Transmisson Cleanup

I have the same thing, I mean the white nylon casing from MIP, but it is fashioned to fit the RC10 buggy. The ball diff inside is narrower and is aluminum, at first I thought it was full metal. But it looks like it is in very good condition, I have 2 brass gears. I think it is great you have a nylon...

Re: Kyosho now on the re-re bandwagon - Scorpion

NOW THATS WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!!!! 8) The beetle was the most rarest cause it wasn't so popular, and that's generated a lot of demand for it, it looks unique and cute to some extent . Thumps up to kyosho, now surely you can expect them to release a handful of iconic buggies including the ultima,...
