The MIP top shaft has a built-in spacer for the 2.60 B4 tranny. The DHawk shaft does not.

DHawk is also listing an aluminum idler that has me really tempted. With the machined top shaft and idler,
that would probably be one smooooth transmission.

I use the JConcepts motor plate with the curved slot, so I can't be of help there. The washers I use are mil-spec from McMaster - PN 98032A429. To the OP- check your rear hub carrier bearings. The inboard set seems to take quite a beating.
