Re: help: cougar 2 diff and slipper thrust races
http://www.racing-cars.com/pp/Old_Cars_and_Parts/Menace_GTR/U730.html The original one had black plastic cage, but I think this one should be ok. The only problem is that over the years the centre hole has sometimes varied in size. I'm sure this is the part number at least that was always used in sl...

Re: Schumacher ABS Instructions
I'll have a look for one and see if I do still have one. I know I still have an ABS / TDS, just not sure if I have the instruction sheet.

Re: What 48pitch spurs for the 6 gear
I may go with 48dp, as they were in use in the time of the 6 gear, I just know that I was using 32. There are a couple of gears in the box that I have, they aren't perfect, but not so bad.

Re: Plastic part colour
Yeah for sure, and parts I put on the car need to be "period"!! Although I may make an exception for ball cups / hardware!

Re: Plastic part colour
Thanks for those steering part numbers. Oddly it's missing the axle as well as the block - which I guess means I took them off together at some point, no idea where / why!! Actually, I think I do remember, and I think it was something to do with a pan car that I made as a school project. No idea if ...

Re: Plastic part colour
Yup, I think making everything black seems like the best option, I'll come on to this!! I've been and dug the car out, and got a couple of surprises. I'm now more confident that it's an "Edinger", and the replacement box that I got is also! Although judging by the other thread, this is a l...

Plastic part colour
Hi All, new to this forum, but not new to RC or the RC10. My parents bought my RC10 for me in about 1987, it was 2nd hand and I suspect it might be an "Edinger" version, although I'm not sure on that at the moment. I'm sure the original box had the end "inked" however I know that...
