The Yokomo YR-4 came with 3mm diff balls (same as YZ870C, Works '91, Works '92 and Works '93).
Not all Yokomo models (off road and on road) came with metric diff balls. The 1994 New YZ10 came with 3/32 diff balls.

Re: YOKOMO __________????
That is a 1994 Yokomo "New" YZ10 Super Dogfighter. Early 1994: Yokomo YZ10 Super Dog Fighter For the majority of people that missed out or could not afford the World Championship Special, Yokomo released the YZ10. Quite similar in design to the W.C.S. but a lot of 'special' parts were ommi...

Re: Fitting 2.2 inch rim to the 870c
Hi Scott, The A-arms pictured in this post are Works '91/93 arms. The rear bulkhead looks very similar to the RPM version but uses a different "bulkhead cap". I don't think that chassis was made by Corally but I can't be sure. 2.2 inch rims were available for the YZ-870C in both pink and w...

Re: yoke shock question
Nice thinkingi saw on the '89 yokomo parts list that websteve posted in the scan archives that the .56 and 1.02 shocks are the associated replacements for the yoke shocks. so, i guess i'll try a pair of the tc3 shock bodies with .56 shafts on the front.

Re: Yokomo Works 'Hybrid'
so, you had/have those pieces to be able to make copies? or were they made just by pictures? looks great vin. :) Hey Jason, Thanks :) I have the original Dukeomo parts that were made from graphite and featured a sparkle style finish (same material and style that Brian Kinwald had his shock towers m...

Re: Yokomo Works 'Hybrid'
Thanks for the comments guys. It's always nice to get an outside opinion :) It took a a while to get all the parts together but the finished product for me anyway, was well worth it. Just to confirm for a couple of members who have asked, the chassis was designed by a racer named J.D. Beckwith. He o...

Re: Yokomo 870c and YZ10
Hey Scott, That is some nice gear you have there. The boys are correct in stating what particular models you have. The YR-4 SP was a fully souped up YR-4 and although it featured a carbon fibre chassis, only 'stick' packs could be used (mandatory in JMRCA sanctioned races). The Works '91 chassis is ...

Re: yoke shock question
Depends on which YZ10. If you are referring to the later 1994 YZ10, then yes, the B4 (.89 bodies with .71 shafts) will work but obviously will offer less upward shock travel. Good for flat style tracks. I don't think they will work well on the YZ-870C and 1989 YZ10 as you won't get much suspension t...

Re: Yokomo 870c DOG FIGHTER 'PROJECT'.
Yokomo released a near perfect replica of Masami's 89 worlds car. It was a very limited production...I don't recall the number. This one http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=3537&p=32977&hilit=masami+replica#p32977 Only 50 were produced. R-NO's decription pretty much says it all.

Re: Yokomo 870c DOG FIGHTER 'PROJECT'.
Hey Jason, the Yokomo chassis you speak of (with the special cell configuration) was Team issue only. It wasn't available to the general public. There was an American racer in the 1990's named J.D. Beckwith who designed his own Yokomo parts (aptly named "Dukeomo") and designed a chassis wi...

Yokomo Works 'Hybrid'
Hi everyone, I have here a Yokomo Works car that I have assembled using many option parts and a few one-off parts. The car started off as an incomplete but new Works '91 and I have added the custom parts to build the car you now see. I have listed bellow some of the special parts I have used on this...

Re: New family member: YZ-10 Pavidis Edition
Before Team Losi came out with their XX-4, many of their team drivers were using the Yokomo range of cars and most of them changed over the stock Associated shocks for the Team Losi versions. Could be an indication of who the previous owner was (i.e. not a Team Associated driver) but I can't say tha...

Re: New family member: YZ-10 Pavidis Edition
I bought a simlar yz a few years back but it had the Losi hard shocks like this one, just wondered if this was an official release or if they were just a driver upgrade? Driver upgrade. The original Pavidis Editions came with Team Associated hard anodised shocks. I think the Kyosho ZX-S came with t...
