Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy

Yeah I paint my scalers on the outside and love the mat finish. It'll be a mat tan and white I believe! I usually paint the inside a copper/rust color and outside whatever color I want. Then when it scratches it looks rusty.

Re: Gold Pan Mutt WOIN build

Got a set of 20deg knuckles and inline axles in and installed. Gonna pull apart some wheels I got as well and dye some parts black and try to finish up the rear shortly. Slow progress but progress non-the-less! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v103/66sprint6/66sprint6s%20album%202/2012-11-18_00-26-...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy

Since I have to glue the fenders back on the body from the inside I decided not to finish stripping the paint and will paint the outside like my other scalers. I have a courier body that I have stripped 3 times now and it does come out a tad hazy but not enough to effect the look once painted. The b...

Re: Gold Pan Mutt WOIN build

Well, the Mutt became even more...mixed LOL. I picked up some long front arms along with what I was hoping was a light gold nose to match the pan. When it showed up...it was light gold alright  Now it appears that I have 3 different shades of gold goin on with this sucker. http://img.photobucke...

Re: Wore out Gold Pan Bronco Buggy

Ive stripped a handful of lexan shells for my Crawlers and they never haze up enough to matter. They are usually scratched all the hell from crawlin which hazes more than stripping the paint does  Ill prolly have to paint this one on the outside tho in order to hide all the glueing but once I g...

Re: The Evil Twin

Yup, it appears that they truely WERE twins and equally abused, mine just took a hard lick to the front, killed a front arm, bent the nose, one of the supports and the pan was tweaked lol. Your right tho, now theres no reason to feel bad when you bash it!!! I like the idea of gettin em back together...
