Re: Cat xl / xls chassis

Home made are the words. Yes, why not a hybrid :D That is if the chassis lines up properly. Have a good look at the shock bracket and especially the suspension bracket. If your suspension bracket is a bit off (it looks like it's not all there) your rear wheel geometry will suffer. Of course with tho...

Re: Cat xl / xls chassis

Here are some more details on the motor plates. All refering to the two holes by your index finger: SWB and XL: only upper hole XLS: both holes Procat: only lower hole That makes one hole difference between the different models. In my world your machined option plate above is XLS, not Procat. Also p...

Re: Cat xl / xls chassis

The differences described in the thread DennisM linked to covers the important basics, and most probably what you need. However there are many subtle differences from the SWB to, and including the Procat - nearly all the parts have to be listed to cover it all. That said nearly all of the parts are ...

Hi. Overall length is 274 mm on both XL/XLS. Identical in the stick pack versions, for the XLS you also got the saddle pack configuration.

Re: help: crash back o ring size?

If you go metric or inches just make sure you get some new good quality nitrile ones. I have been very disappointed with some of the "New old Stock" U725Y floating around. Nitrile isn't ageing gracefully, especially if it has been exposed to light and you never know how they have been stor...

Re: Who still runs old tires?

I run "old" tires both outside and indoor on carpet. From Schumacher you still get the full spike and block. When driving indoor I just cut off the spikes, like the on the Hot Trick Red Fox down this page: http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=31649 Take a look here: http://www....

Re: Sending positive thoughts to The Husting Family...

Very sorry to hear the sad news. Sympathies go out to you and your family from Norway.
Gene was a honorable enthusiast leaving his wheel tracks of joy all over the RC world - and still will.
My deepest condolences to all the Husting family and friends.

Re: RC car museum exhibition – Norway. New go!

Minicars XII Comp - very nice! Actually the best result this car has achived was in the hands of a norwegian called Terje Haugen. He came third in the European championship in 1982, London. In the race report in "Model Cars" it says he was driving a Bolink Challenger, but it was a Minicars...

RC car museum exhibition – Norway. New go!

This museum display has sort of faded away from my mind a bit, although from time to time I get a bit frustrated that a few of my cars have been "locked up" in the museum for almost two years now. Last time was the running up to the NVC (Nordic Vintage Challenge) February this year. I real...

Re: POST PICS OF YOUR HOT TRICK STUFF HERE

This is a Hot Trick Red Fox I built for the Nordic Vintage Challenge 1. February 2014. And it was a challenge to drive too :D - didn't get it on the track before the race day... The body I just stole from my Hot Trick Hotshot for the race and was the best fit I could find at the time (the body is mo...
