Re: RC12E clone runner project.
I've been been active in this hobby for about 25 years but only recently discovered how much fun 1/12th cars can be. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do. And since this is the first time I take a closer look at the rc12e I only just discovered how close the design is to my SG prosso expert. A pi...

Where the heck do you find all this stuff!
I saw some Jerobee bodies on the bay not that long ago. Wish I had picked them up.

Re: Rusty RC12E Resto
I've just scored the correct motor for this car along with a set of era correct Futaba servos. Hanging around you guys has made me anal about this sort of stuff now. The body will be painted this weekend. I might post a shot of it without decals before the rest of the car is updated. Still wor...

Re: Rusty RC12E Resto
Just finished rough cutting the new body. Hopefully I'll have it refined and all ready for paint in the morning. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x277/Jagdgeschwader2/RC12e/IMG_0785.jpg This car sits low enough to decapitate an ant. http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x277/Jagdgeschwader2/RC12e/IMG...

Re: Nissan Delta wing
What do you guys think about this car? Too radical? Perhaps I'm too much of a traditionalist (oldfashioned), but I find it difficult to feel any love for this car.

Re: Nissan Delta wing
Been watching it too. I'm a huge fan of endurance car racing. Just love the onboard cam at night.

That's a sharp car! Really digging those black rims. Will you be painting the body or leaving it clear to show off the chassis?

Re: RC12E clone runner project.
I'm glad these are still available as I couldn't find any other resistors like this except the heavy Asscociated buggy ones. Might stock up on a few for future projects.GJW wrote:I've seen a slimline blue resistor made for 12e/I but not this large one. Cool!

Re: RC12E clone runner project.
Haha I saw that parts car on the bay and the closer I looked the more scared I got! Still good for the few things you needed. Bury the rest real deep in the back yard! Lol That parma resistor looks just like the Losi one from their entry level sport kits bitd. Hmmmm Can't wait to see how it progres...
