Re: Gallop MK2 rear gearbox outdrives

There´s a chance original Scorpion outdrives would be the same. I Haven´t checked yet.

Re: Cat 2000 ID

The Cat pictured, should be a 98. Shock bodies would be the same, the purple aluminum cartridges on Your shock are a hop-up version and not 98 specific.

Edit:
If You have the blade outdrives it´s most likely borne as a 98. What kind of outdrives does the manual show/refer to?

If You can re-use the rims, any 2.2 truck tire would fit.

Re: Best source of parts!

Ebay is Your best chance - Or really spend some time on google using the AE parts numbers.
If You´re looking for vintage parts, be prepared to pay quite a sum. Even the "classic" parts are costly

Not one single picture did You care to share with us, not one word of thanks to the people responding to Your cry for help. Seems like a good idea turning Your thread into an advertisement for Your Ebay sale.

Re: Help with a resto build Kyosho FF CRX

Pictured is a front shock from a Kyosho Scorpion (not the re-release)
The shock body is app. 10mm shorter than the SRB one and slimmer - 8mm app. on the outside. (I see Phin´s one eyebrow is lifting  )

Re: DS conversion part list or kit?

https://img2.associatedelectrics.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/RC10DS/Team/drawings.DS.pdf

There´s quite a few parts different from the truck.

New DS conversion kits comes up from time to time on ebay, expect to pay top dollar if You go that route.

In general, new DS parts are scarse, and costly.

Re: reproduction yz10 94 shock towers, where to find?

To my knowledge, Jeff (factory works) is the only one doing natural g10 towers for YZ10.
Due to difference in colors between old and new parts, You might want to order a full set with radio deck and battery braces.

Re: SRB Free Styling

Looking very good - a darn shame about the paint.
I´ve had the same thing happen to me a cople of times.
Burnt by the fire, I´ve started to let the paint cure for 5-7 days before applying the clear coat.
