Re: Charging newer batteries
Yeah, I thought it was a little crazy too but jay says he used to be (still is?) a team driver and the suppliers told him that. Once a week helps maintain peak charge and capacity longer. From what I gathered, nimh can lose around 30% of it's charge/capacity if it is cycled too much. Nicds are near ...

Re: Charging newer batteries
I'm also new to nimh, but Jay Dub seems very reliable..... Check this quote.... Well, if you have your heart set on NiMh batteries, then what you really need to do is rather complicated. First, figure out what type of cell you have, and then find out what care regimine is prescribed (most manufactur...

Re: SC10 2wd - 1/8 Buggy Conversion
Well, I love the buggy idea, so I'll keep an eye out for a cheap sc10 and pick up where you left off..... Someday.

Re: SC10 2wd - 1/8 Buggy Conversion
That sucks man. Any more pics? I would be interested in the roller for the right price, but I know it's brand new and I really need to focus on a tx/rx for my current B4.

RC10CE turnbuckles
What are the original rc10ce turnbuckle sizes? Or, can I substitute b2 or b3 sets?
Also, what are the lengths on the rear shocks? 1.32?

Re: SC10 2wd - 1/8 Buggy Conversion
Okay, I see. The sc10 wheelbase is 54mm longer and 43mm wider. Hmmmm.... B4 = short wheelbase, short course buggy?? Hmmmm..... This is a great idea.... My wife is gonna kill me!!!
Or not. sc10's aren't cheap! Parts arent too bad though.... Its a "maybe" conversion...

Re: RC10 20yrs AND STILL RUNNING!!
Ah yes! Now I see the four wires! I think I may have one of those a well buried somewhere.... If it works or not, that another question.
My poor ole CE needs work before I can even bash with it, let alone race it. This forum is inspiring much to my wifes displeasure! Lol

Re: Anyone have a FlySky radio?
Just stumbled upon this radio and was shocked at the price. Especially the receivers! For $63 shipped i get the fs-gt3b tx and 4 rx's!!! I will still dream of m8's and m11's but until then i think this will suffice!

Re: My RC10B4 Team Car Build
Well, thanks to flip, now i'm thinking i want to race so now i have to take a WHOLE different route. (Probably saving me a TON of money) . I'm now aiming at reducing weight, balancing the platform, and only using aluminum in key places that are prone to breakage. PS: Moderator, if you feel this thre...

Re: My RC10B4 Team Car Build
I dunno. Probly not. Racing that is. I really just enjoy building and modding them. If i do race, i'll probly use a b3 or swap out parts. Wrenching is half the fun!!!

Re: My RC10B4 Team Car Build
Technically, it IS vintage. The 2003 Team Car(#9034)was discontinued awhile back and is now completely unavailable at the AE Store. 9yrs old and unavailable, thats vintage enough in my book!
Besides.... There is no "Modern RC10" forum. Otherwise I would have posted there.
