1. Remove the head from the engine. 2. Rotate the crank till the piston is at top dead center (piston can be broken if you don't) 3. Remove the back plate 4. remove the piston sleeve. Joe was a good guy. That place got me started in about 88' I guess. I took a long time off and started racing again about 3 years ago.

Purple power is great but it does contain acid so be careful around anodized parts. Simple green is the best thing out there IMO for all around cleaning. I use it all my RC race stuff and my 1.1 truck for cleaning the wheels and tires. Plus at $9 bucks a gallon it's priced right.

You just got to love dirt. Weather full scale or RC!
