Re: My Optima series collection
yup i guess they are hard anodized, it should last longer than the standard one i guess, another cheaper alternative is to use the ultima's plastic one ![Mr. Green ](./images/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif)

Re: My Optima series collection
Optima Hard final pinion vs normal final pinion, what surprise me was the hard one actually weights the same as the normal alloy, at 6g. My buddy has an after market one, which I think is made of steel, weights so much heavier, so I guess kyosho's hard final is some kind of coated/anodized?

Re: slash 4x4 convert to 2wd
i decided to remove the center shaft to reduce the drag on the drivetrain so the motor would have lesser stress , also by removing the shaft , i covered the front shaft hole with duct tape to prevent dirt from getting in . thanks for sharing your experience ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

slash 4x4 convert to 2wd
I have a slash 4x4, but unfortunately my local track only allows 2wd SCT due to the track owner worry about the such big 4wd destroying the track. So my question is, by removing the center shaft and front drive shafts, how will it handle during jumps? Has anyone tried it ?

Re: My Kyosho Scorpion (Circuit 1000) series
work in progress Tomahawk, this is meant for the shelf, has all the body bits like muffler, window nets, sport light, side mirrors and driver doll. The side mirror is actually 2 right side, with one being trimmed to be fitted on the left , and looks a little weird I think.

Beetle, with yellow tub, this is actually a Graupner version which my friend sold to me, it actually came with a black tub that has many holes drilled to cool the electronics, but my friend was kind enough to swap a very good condition yellow tub in the deal. Has the original black tub cover which I...
