Re: OS.12cvr engine tuning help
I have visible smoke at 25% throttle and good response. Thats why I believe Im either right on or very near +-2 clicks on the bottom end. What you're saying makes sense about having to blip the throttle and thats why I pry do have it a couple of clicks lean because I was having to blip it so I leane...

Re: OS.12cvr engine tuning help
Ok, I think Im getting a little closer but still not sure. I sealed everything that I could with the silicone and the pressure seems to be fine, good compression and the bottom end is dialed in. The engine is accelerating good and I just let it idle to see how long it would go, 10 min + just sat the...

Re: OS.12cvr engine tuning help
Ok, thanks guys. I have been wondering myself if the engine is done, but I dont want to just replace the sleeve and piston head at $60 when a whole engine costs $100. It feels like it still has good compression when it is cold. It does seem like when it gets hot it starts to act up and I dont think ...

OS.12cvr engine tuning help
I have an OS.12cvr engine and all the gaskets are brand new. I was having trouble with the engine not running correctly and I realized I had a small leak on the gas tank. I read that proper pressure is needed to run these engines so I bought a brand new tank. That seemed to help with the pressure si...

Re: SC10GT CONVERSION
The pics without the body are above. The body posts are HPI STRAIGHT BODY posts, the front body posts bolt onto the front bulkhead/ body post mount that comes with the kit. The kit is longer than the gt chasis so I dont know if it will be the same, the guy that makes these on rcuniverse might be abl...

Re: SC10GT CONVERSION
All in all, pretty pleased. The only con is the sc10gt is def. a lot heavier. I have an OS12cv and its not bad, but its not as fast as it used to be, a lot heavier and pry doesnt stop as well. I just play around with it so its not really a huge deal. It looks awesome though so big ups on the PRO sid...

Re: SC10GT CONVERSION
I found and bought the kit from a guy on the rcuniverse.com forums. Just go on rcuniverse.com and search the forums, keyword sc10gt. You will see the thread, a few photos and you can email the guy. He makes them upon order. The chasis is stainless and when I got everything together I was suprised be...

Re: Associated 2.4 XP-33 SS radio receiver issues
Well... good news, its not my receiver apparently. I had an old airtronics servo that I decided to hook up for craps and giggles and it doesnt have the interference that the other servo had issues with. Im thinking that the futaba servo that I was having the interference issue with has bad wiring or...

Associated 2.4 XP-33 SS radio receiver issues
I just bought a brand new Associated 2.4 XP-33 SS radio and receiver, installed it today and have some issues. Does anyone know why when Im turning the steering servo the Throttle servo is turning too? Its like there is interference between channel 1 and channel 2. I dont know what to do, I tried pl...

SC10GT CONVERSION
This is my rc10gt sc conversion. Its almost finished, just waiting for the body to arrive in the mail. After putting everything together Im a little worried that its going to be too heavy! Im running a cv12 and I dont know if its going to be able to pull. The conversion chasis is made from stainless...
