Re: Will the Re-Re Madness ever stop?
I say bring in all the re-res. I never had the chance to own a Tamiya RC when I was a kid (I got my first RC Car when I was already 21). Now I have the chance to buy and build all of these RC kits that I only used to see in Hobby Shop windows and Tamiya RC Catalogs.

Re: Another re-release from Tamiya
guys i have a question regarding the Avante - if given a chance to get 1 between the original and re-release of Avante. Which one would you choose the nostalgia of having the original or the re-release that offers better parts. The price does not matter but can only choose one. To me as long...

Re: Another re-release from Tamiya
It was the re-re frog that started my vintage collection. In a span of three months, my one re-re frog grew into a collection of 7 Vintage RC Cars including the following: Kyosho Turbo Optima 2 RC10 Gold Pans Old Sand Scorcher with Beetle and F150 Bodies Team Associated B3 My next addition to my add...

Re: 6 gear tranny with stealth spur?
I saw an RC10 "The Winning Edge" Video where Jim Halsey is showing 2 screws in the spur gear. Not sure if that was for the 6 gear tranny.

Bearings for Motors
I purchased a couple of Yokomo 11 and 13 Turn Motors and found out that it has bushings in the end bell and motor can. What size bearing and where can I get bearings for these motors?

Vintage RC Picture Book
Maybe it's just me or I believe that Vintage RC Cars such as the RC10 share the same appeal to the vintage japanese die cast robots from the 70's and 80's. Having said this, I think it's time that someone make a nice picture book about vintage RC Cars similiar to a book that I own with photographs b...

I got me a B3!
I am not sure if this is a sought after car from Team Associated but I got a very good deal on a B3 Rolling Chassis. The car is in pristine built but never used condition and it comes with an Associated Power 15 Motor. This car came with bushings but I plan to run this baby so I need to change all t...

binjaloo's collection of vintage RC Cars
A year after I sold all of my 1990s to 2000s RC Collection (Including a never ran Kyosho Ultima RB5 and a barely used Traxxas Slash), I got bit by the bug again this year. However, this time it's a little bit different. I started collecting RC Cars from the 80's. Here's a few of my cars (Collected i...

Re: Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
Got my B44 Rear CVAs. This is just a mock up but I also added the rear B4 Yellow wheels with Jconcepts Bar Codes Rubber. Taking cues from other builds in this forum, I also added a couple of shims inside the hub and a B44 Rear Wheel Spacer. Everything looks to be in order and ready to go. Below is a...

Re: Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
I've made a little bit of progress on my RC10 Gold Pan Runner. I used the the stock front axles and I was able to fit the B4 front yellow wheels without any modifications. I also got a new set of black anodized nose tubes and black battery cups which apparently are still available from towerhobbies....

Re : My RC10 Gold Pan Runner Build
This is a great site and I would like to get some info regarding RC10 Gold Pan Runner builds. I have a "A" Stamp chassis and would like to use the same B4 Hub Set Up with B44 CVAs. Most of the builds that I see here in the forum shows a B4 Hub/B44 CVA setup with Dyonotech Klein Arms. I was...
