Re: Unknown yellow wheels
Thanks for your answer Scr8p. If you happen to have a definitive, positive answer to that question and or an advertisement featuring these wheels, don't hesitate to post... Anyway I have no use for these so I'll gladly trade them (or even give them - for a project of course, no to re-sell them) if a...

Re: Sassy A&L build
BTW lipo cutoffs are way overrated IMO. By the time your battery reaches 7V, your car will litterally be crawling reeeeeaaaally slowly on the track. Just don't keep running when this happens. Neuronal lipo cutoff, it's called.

Re: Sassy A&L build
Hey, super nice build here. About your speedo, it seems to me like a Hitec ? All the Hitec ESCs I've had were super weak on brakes. On a forward only you could add like 5 schottky diodes to help a bit, but if it has reverse, you're stuck with close to non-existent brakes. If you have absolutely NO b...

Re: Lonestar's Stealth CE runner :)
AE dropped the thrust bearing on single disc slippers after a few years once they realized it wasn't needed. My CE doesn't have it, there's just a copper washer... DUH ! I had never realized it TBH... all my slippers have the thrust and I thought if I put nothing or a washer, the nut would come loo...

Re: Lonestar's Stealth CE runner :)
Great write-up man ! Now you got me wanting to mid-motorize my RC10 you to try and beat you next winter, haha I have to agree on the general ability I have witnessed about maintaining a RC car. The too long spur screws is a mistake so common it's horriffying. Out of the the 5 AE slipper assemblies I...

Re: If AE went back in time for a FACTORY TEAM 6-Gear RC10
Nice resto, I like the blue chassis. If you want to call it " factory team" though, don't forget the blue TI turnbuckles, the teflon coated threaded shocks, and the CF battery brace(s) and shock towers. Also MIP cvd's would be nice.... I would advocate for the dying black of the white nylo...

HA-HA !
I thinks it looks great !
But I have doubts about the handling, considering the difference of lenght between F and R arms.

Re: Got Me a Moose Head!
In the initial post he mentioned that this body was purchased used and painted. Presumably the previous owner had cut it out, painted it, and mounted it. I don't think that the mounting holes are the work of LTO! My bad, I did not read correctly . Yeah, considering how clean his builds usually are,...

I don't mean to be rude, but what's up with the butcher job on the mounting holes ?

Re: Thoughts on a RC10 Hop Up Catalog/Thread?
One thing that would be awesome would be to put the key measurements of each parts with the picture... of course in inches AND in millimeters for us metrics ! Seriously that could end up being a sweet database.
