Re: White Arm Yokomo YZ10 Project~

.....In the first posted picture of this thread there was scuffing on the chassis, but in the next it was gone. Did you replace it or fix it with acetone? It's the same chassis! The acetone bath cleaned it up really well. There is still a little scuffing as the acetone won't clean those up of cours...

Re: Yokomo universal driveshaft's part # versus model?

Those Masami shocks are bottom feed! Your going to have to get some gold ones hard anodized along with the caps! Your build is fantastic BTW! Are you "THE" xxxmain? Yea, the shocks are a tough one. I would love to get a set anodized up to match better but that will be much later if...

Re: Vintage AE & I Got 870c Runners!

Where is your sense of adventure? Must be why you guys never start any good wars. Ha ha, might I remind you of the year 1812?? I know we were under British rule but let's be reasonable... Here's a joke... two Canadians walk into a bar... then your white house is on fire!!!!!! That's it.... that's t...

Re: Vintage AE & I Got 870c Runners!

Make sure you come another 2 hours south!!! I would love to meet up, but when I told my wife I wanted to meet up with you on our last visit to which she said you were going to likely rape and kill me since I only met you on the internet  I'll see what I can convince her of this next time :D . ...

Second vote on this.... not that your Yok is democratic.... but you need to hack off those servo ears and move that sucker forward so your linkage lines up.

Re: Yokomo universal driveshaft's part # versus model?

Ok, it looks like the universal problem is solved. I won't post any more pics in this thread after this so I can start a build thread. I have put this car together loosely to get all the dimensions correct but I'm going to disassemble it and do a full build from the beginning with images for the new...

Re: Associated Team Shocks on Yokomos

I just checked out some piston sizes and the old school associated piston (the one without markings) is the same as the new #1 piston. On my yoks I've built a few setups with associated shocks and have used either #1 or #2 pistons with 30 to 40wt oil and they all feel good on the cars. Obviously you...

Re: Yokomo universal driveshaft's part # versus model?

xxxmain do you have a build thread for the Masami replica? There is some great info going into this thread but it may be hard to find later on. Are the rear arms Dukomo replicas that Dual had Dyna-tech make? Yea, good idea. I will start a build thread shortly. I think we may figure out this univers...

Yuppers!! But I don't know what Masami used to solder them together. I can't find any pics anywhere that actually show the sides of his cells. I think I'm just going to use battery braid.
