Re: so, I am going to race this thing...Mark II
Cool, I hope to catch you there. Just for the record for anyone thinking of doing this kind of thing, this thing is raceable. One of the regular buggy drivers gave it some laps, and although it needs some tweaking, it would be able to compete against the new stuff. But, I need to practice alot more ...

Re: Help! Need advice, been bitten by the classic RC10 bug!
You know, it depends what you want and how much you want to spend. The Championship Edition with a stealth is a good idea and would probably get you to where you want to go , but if you want the dynotech arms I would start with a rc10t. They seem to be cheaper then a rc10 with the Stealth transmissi...

Re: so, I am going to race this thing...
Just a little update. I realized I have very bad bump steer. I should have noticed it earlier. I have been comparing the front end to a b4.1, looking for ways to improve, and I realized how bad it was. So, see if my logic is correct: As the car turns, the outside suspension compresses, and as it com...

Re: so, I am going to race this thing...
Thanks again. I don't plan to give up on this. I have 2 weeks until I can get back to the track. I plan to : 1) lower ride height. I am at 29mm front and 30mm rear. I will shoot for 24mm. This is going to cause the suspension to be more "v" shaped, as it is pretty straight now. 2) I think ...

Clay, When you get there and your on the stand say "guy this is my first race, with that said im sorry". Nothing you do after that will make you look like a fool. This seems like a good approach. http://www.ebay.com/itm/190710367111?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 h...

Re: so, I am going to race this thing...
. I meant to ask if there was a reason you mounted the rear shocks on the back side of the tower? They may perform a bit better up front, but it's your buggy. Thanks for asking, that's helpful feedback. A bunch of little things seemed to add up to the shocks farther back then seems normal.
