Re: XXT
Well I checked the brushes and they look ok, but I don't exactly know what to look for to tell if they are bad. The only connection that isn't soldered is the battery connection.

Re: XXT
I am now having electrical problems. The ESC is only a forward/brake, and I adjusted the transmitter to a 70/30 instead of the 50/50. I then proceeded to set the ESC to accommodate for the change. I ran the battery thru it, charged the battery back up, and now it won't move most of the time, the ver...

Re: XXT
the LHS didn't have tamiya paint, but had Pactra paint. I got metallic green, hopefully it'll be about the same. I think I'm going to cut it first, so I won't damage the paint after I get it painted. I also have to drill the holes for the body mounts, so I am definitely going to do that first. That ...

Re: XXT
Would krylon fusion work? It says it is fully chip resistance in 7 days.
I am going plain black. I think it'll work well with my Novak stickers I want to use.

Re: XXT
I just got a new battery for it, and a new body. I need to paint the body. I know I have to paint it on the inside, and I have to use special hobby paint, but how much do I need? I want to do a simple 3 color paint job, but I might do just one. I never painted a body, so I don't know how much to get...

I just received earlier today my xxt I bought a week ago. I have a few questions though. 1. What bodies will fit? The 2 that it came with are not the best, so I would like to get a new one. 2. Should I change connectors? All I have is the tamiya, traxxas, and another with black and red ends that con...

Re: ITS ALIVE!!
as for the servo esc glue stuff, a 3M double sided tape (extra strong) would do the trick. now the question is, how will you remove them in case you need them to be removed?  Well, I am getting a 2.4 GHz transmitter for either my 'pede or nitro rustler, so it'll be replaced by the ol...

how vintage is my rusty?
it is the first gen nitro rustler (see pic below) also, the motor is shot, i tore it apart today, the connecting rod was broke, the bearings were seized, i had to hammer on the crankshaft out to even get it to start moving. I am most likely going to get a brand new motor for it, most likely a HPI Ni...

ITS ALIVE!!
I finally got around to getting my RC10 Running, and it works perfectly. I just need to buy the new tires I found on eBay for the front (old ones are ripped at the edge of tread and sidewall, but hold up for driving on pavement/dirt) and rebuild the rear shocks (just replace the oil maybe??) It sits...

So close......
I am so close to getting my rc10 running, but I can't find a good spot to mount the servo. I am using ball joints on the servo arm and the one thing up front that the steering rods are connected to (like 2 T's with a center link and one has a little arm off of it that needs to be pushed forward and ...
