Re: RCCA Truck of the year 1992
Regarding the Associated Slot Racing Prod header cards, I'm not really sure so I reached out to Roger Curtis. He will let me know. This is somewhat before my time. Here is a picture of the HO slot car vac-u-form molds that I still have. Porsche 917, Ti 22 and a VW bug. The full size slot car is a Ge...

Re: RCCA Truck of the year 1992
This body was painted by Mike Ogle. He is an amazing painter and artist. He made so many great ads for AE. Regarding the early Slot Car part of AE, Associated made all kinds of Slot Car parts and bodies. One of my first jobs working at AE was gluing, mounting and grinding rear slot car tires. The fi...

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worlds
That was just a hypothetical about the Stealth car. We will be letting some of the other items go in the Gene Husting Museum. Not sure about how the best way to do it. Any suggestions? What thread should I be asking these questions on? Thanks.

What do you think the value would be for the original Masami's Australia's Stealth car?

Re: If you could ask Gene Hustings...
Although Gene never built his Re-release RC10 he was happy to see that it was released for new people to enjoy. He autographed a few kit boxes for a lucky few people.

Re: If you could ask Gene Hustings...
Gene Husting had a re-release RC10 kit. He never opened it. It still sits on a shelf in his museum.

Hi Guys,
Yes I will confirm that this is not an Associated Prototype. Not sure who made it but it didn't come out of the AE Factory.

The stock manifolds were straight but I ground all the Race Teams manifolds just like that.slotcarrod wrote:Your going all out on this building a prototype header! Why taper the port, AE never bothered!Just kidding, I matched all of mine.

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worl
aside from the obvious winners, why did some end up keeping their stealth buggies and others didn't curtis? As far as I know, Craig Drescher has a car and I have Masami's car. We also have one more at AE. I don't believe there are any other cars out there. Do you know of any other '91 Stealth cars ...

Re: Hirosaka's Stealth RC10 used in Australia & Detroit Worl
Some of you had asked who all raced the '91 Stealth cars in Detroit. I can't remember all of them but I believe we had 15 or 16 cars there. Here is the list below of who I think raced them. I could be wrong about one or two of them but this is the best list I could come up with. Maybe some of you ca...
