Good price and good run time. Only real problem is the location of the wires interferes with most of the battery boxes in my cars.

Hope you can get it back up and running. I smashed up my motor plate and lexan gear cover last week. Now I get to do the ebay hunt.

Same thing was happening to my XX with my MMP system and my old AM radio. Switched it over to an FM system and it runs perfect now.

A Castle Creations Sidewinder can handle brushed motors, Nicads, lipos, and of course brush-less.

Unfortunately in my limited experience (cause I haven't been looking) trans cases aren't easy to find for the XX and XXT. However if you can find one you will really enjoy the car a lot, I beat the snot out of mine and finally just broke a shock shaft end the other week.

My first car was actually a truck (82 Dodge Ram), that I later traded for my first actual car (1970 Dodge Dart), which I still have.

If I remember right... Transmission, chassis, arms, both shock towers, turnbuckles, wheels/tires, shocks, body, wing/wing wire. Pretty much you one keep the steering, rear T plate, hinge pins, front/rear bulkheads, gear cover and assorted hardware... Seems like it would be easier to snag an old XX ...

The damaged part is a chassis brace, part# LOSA9900

However they are discontinued, so your going to have to dig for one.

It was a kit that was released for the xx-4 years ago. Once in a while you can find NIB kits on eBay, or just the body, or other parts. kinda hard to find now. Once in a while you will see someone on this forum selling parts for the Heavy Metal conversion. Weak, I kinda wanted to get another body f...

Where do you get these bodies? I actually kind of like it. The mounts and bumper look to be pro made, not hacked together like I expected.
