Looking forward to build pics on this one!
An 834b is really the only vintage R/C that I still want to add to my collection - I have bid on more than a few, just no deals, yet...

Re: Advice on a New Pickup Truck
I drive an '05 Chevy Silverado, which I bought new in '05 - I couldn't be happier. Excellent combination of comfortable, spacious interior without being overly bulky outside, decent fuel economy, good power, and excellent reliability, plus, I drove it off the lot for close to seven thousand dollars ...

Yeah!!! Pantera. "...time for Primal Concrete Sledge.@#!"   Me and my buddies got kicked out of the "Cowboys from Hell" show in, like, 1991, for smoking the wrong kind of home-rolled 'cigarettes' - we went around back and listened to some of the set th...

Re: Houge Arms - Aluminum
I would most likely be in for at least one set of arms/mounts.
I would also be interested in the chassis, as mentioned above - I have one graphite chassis, but, I don't really want to drill new holes in it...

Re: JRX-2 vintage racer
Neat car, nice patina. What are your future plans for it? Yes, this is real, 20 year-old patina, not the re-created "faux-tina" that they paint on the "Trucks!" show on Spike TV... ((To be honest, I really enjoy the Powerblock on Spike TV.)) :D My plans for this buggy incl...

Re: JRX-2 vintage racer
Actually, the motor is not period correct, it is just the shell of a later model (1990's) Trinity stock motor with most of the end bell disassembled.scottd wrote:What kinda motor is that?
Would've looked more like this, as new:

Re: JRX-2 six-pack
Glad to see I'm not the only one with a JRX2 addidction. Very cool picture, and you have a very nice fleet of X2's, glad to see I am not the only one as well with a Losi addiction... Regarding the Losi addiction... Unfortunately, this is only about half my Losi collection (I have it bad) ...

This one is a little beat-up, but, a vintage Andy's painted body from the late eighties:

Re: BoLink Digger runner
By the way - this model has "full" ball-bearings... There is a total of only six bearings in the entire thing - two in each front wheel, and two larger ones supporting the rear axle... That's it! (pretty cheap to rebuild

Lucky for me, my wife really likes the pink bug body... Which helps to sooth the impact of all my other R/C stuff that she calls "junk"! ![Wink ](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: RC10 polished chassis (first post)
:? What body is that ?? I think it's a TQ10 body. Edit, stole this pic from member emerson_shih. The body is a sidewinder made for the TQ10. Yes, "Sidewinder" is what I've heard it called - I'm not sure who made it? If it was in-fact for the TQ10, would it have been made by Horizon Hobbie...

BoLink Digger runner
This is a BoLink Digger I have had for a while - I remember as a kid (1985 or so), some guy was playing around with one of these in the pits at the local off-road track. His Digger had rubber tires, knobbies in the back, and was the fastest thing I had ever seen - it was spitting rocks everywhere an...
