Planning my ultimate RC10 build

Hey guys, I'm a massive fan of the RC10 (had a couple in recent years) and have been acquiring project cars and bits and pieces for awhile now, so I can attempt my 'ultimate build'. Currently I have a new built A stamp gold pan, and that's it as far as completed cars go...I'll be selling the new bui...

Re: Source for replacement SWB Cat front belt

Hi Kaszal,

Thankyou very much for the links. I honestly don't know what length/pitch the CAT SWB belts are, but I presume you do and that these are close?

For the few bucks they cost I'm willing to give it a shot. I'll order 1 and report back on my findings.

Thanks again!

Cheers,

Steve

Source for replacement SWB Cat front belt

Hi folks, I'm building up a SWB Cat with Fibrelyte chassis and Mr Lexan repro body, and don't have a SWB drive belt. I imagine genuine SWB Cat belts are either non-existant or being hoarded (rightfully so). I recall reading once somewhere that there is a company who can supply belts in custom pitche...

Re: Yokomo YR-F2 Special new build

I must admit I didn't inhale after opening! (sounds like a Clinton-esque admission to smoking dope) I did however hack open the box seal with my car key  I will be sure to take great care with the build though...I have resisted the temptation to open any bags, but the quality of the carbon fibr...

Re: Yokomo YR-F2 Special new build

Yeah I know...I'm encouragable! Haven't got time just yet to start the build, but watch this space...will hit in in 2-3 weeks hopefully. The car is the Special...with Carbon fibre and upgrades from the standard so I'll leave it as a stock special...if that makes sense. They are quirky and blingy eno...

Yokomo YR-F2 Special new build

Hi guys, I just wanted to express my excitement in purchasing a NIB (sealed) Yokomo YF-F2 SP. I've been looking for one of these suckers for a couple of years now, and obviously they are the rarest of the rare, but I finally tracked one down in my home city none the less! After handing over a small ...

Re: Wheels for Traxxas TRX-1

Guys, Thanks to the generousity of Jay Dub (Jeff) in donating a set of mint rear TRX-1 wheels and tyres (plus a set or original front tyres on HPI tims) and my luck in sourcing a new set of 6 spoke TRX-1 front rims, my car will now be shod correctly on all fours! Thanks to everyone for their suggest...

Re: Wheels for Traxxas TRX-1

Hi again guys,

Would the wheels from say a Bandit be a direct fit? To be honest, I don't mind the black chrome wheels from the VXL Bandit as a stop gap until I can find a pair of 6 spoke fronts.

Cheers,

Steve

Re: Wheels for Traxxas TRX-1

Thanks guys for your input. I thought about the Losi wheels also...but as you said availability is the issue. I will scour the net and find something worthy! I don't have the cazr in my possession as yet so I can't check the manual, but is the TRX-1 front bearing 5/16x3/8 and rear shaft 3/16, or was...

Wheels for Traxxas TRX-1

Hi guys. I've been browsing this site for a while now but this is my first post. I've recently managed to get hold of a NIB, partially assembled TRX-1. It is complete except for the wheels and tyres. Does anyone know of an available wheel/tyre combo that closely resembles the original spoked TRX-1 w...
